A GREAT STUDY GUIDE FOR THE CISSP EXAM
I used this book and the Official ISC2 CISSP CBK book exclusively to study for my CISSP exam and passed first time. The All in One Study guide goes into more detail to explore around each of the topics than the CBK. As a result you understand the topic rather than just memorising the information. This is crucial when you come to sit the exam as it is often based on your interpretation of the best answer rather than just a straight forward recall from memory. This would make a good companion book for anyone who is going to attend a course in preparation for the exam and would complement instructor notes or slides. However do not underestimate the amount of information that you have to learn for the exam. In my opinion unless you have a very high level of base knowledge to start with you need to allow yourself at least a day per topic (there are 10) and to be on the safe side I would double that to allow yourself time to go over the material at least once more. The tests at the end of each chapter are good and will prepare you; however do not expect them to be identical to those you will find in the exam. I used the boxed set version of this book which includes a DVD of additional material and a computer based test exam. I would strongly recommend that as a minimum you ensure you complete each of the tests at the end of the chapters. There is also plenty of additional study material available from the Shon Harrris website which adds further detail to some of the topics and subjects. In summary - If you buy this book and the Official ISC2 CISSP CBK you can pass the exam with no further courses. Allow yourself time to read the book (cover to cover) and go over the material at least once or twice. Once you have passed this will then be a good reference for the future.

Chatty but informative
A pretty well written book, not as much depth as the ISC written ones. Like the style, easy to follow, tests are a little ways off what the ISC exam questions are both in terms of difficulty and topic coverage.
