Fried tomato sauce, ready to eat, creamy, just add to the pasta and meat, or vegetables, when pasta is ready. Also very nice with white rice. It's a basic product when you grow in Spain. Children love it!

This costs more than ordinary passata but the taste is so much better. It has the sweetness and intensity of test that you get with tomatoes that have been ripened in the sun apart from when I am abroad in the summer I have never quite managed to capture the fresh ess and intesity of this productI won't do without it in my store cupboard now it is ideal for a tomato sauce base in all sorts of dishes Highly reccommended

A terrific product than can be used in a variety of ways. The containers are just the right size to prevent wastage and the sauce enhances all sorts of dishes.

This is my second shipment, I now share the pack with my daughters family, we are all hooked. This is a delicious tomato sauce. Very real, one or two reviews have seemed a bit negative about the flavour, well it may be a personal preference thing, but we all love it!

I would not use this as a neat sauce, to me it has too artificial a flavour however I have given it 4-stars for its usefulness as an ingredient.On arrival I discovered that this is a Heinz product (no problem there) and has a good long shelf life. As such I see it as a valuable addition to my long term disaster preparation stores.We have found in the coronavirus outbreak that tomato sauces, tins of tomato, passata, tomato puree have at times been very hard to purchase. As we eat a great deal of vegetarian food, a source of tomato base is pretty essential so this has back filled the shortage in those since the public panic bought them.The sauce comes in a Foil sealed tetra pack and is a good size for cooking a single family meal. In colour it is quite light and orange and reminds me of the other staple Heinz products, Tomato Soup and Baked Beans.The flavour does not have the natural flavour of a quality passata, but is more like a variant of one of those Heinz products. Again, no problem there.I have now made several dishes where my sauce has replaced the tomato puree, or similar tomato base content with this sauce. I find that if the dish is to be eaten immediately, then I need to work a bit harder on seasoning to disguise the slightly processed taste of this sauce, adding eg: wine, mirepoix, herbs, spices, Tamari and so on. I have a sense that if, as with most tomato sauce based dishes, I cooked the sauce and left it overnight, then I would not need to season it so much as for immediate eating.I will continue to experiment with this sauce as its a very useful ingredient for medium term storage.

I absolutely love this! Yes it's a bit pricey but it's far superior to anything in the super markets.
