Overall, the construction looks solid and the latching system for folding up the net seems to be well-designed. The net has a rubber coating, so hopefully hooks won't get stuck in it. The pole extends out and has a sold stop, so it won't come out unless something breaks. The extension adjusts by turning the black round nut. To loosen the grip around the pole, a common design feature. I had to put some superglue on the hinge pin, so it wouldn't easily come out. My pin was sticking out about 1/8" and I could push it in by hand, so had to fix that. Something the manufacture should fix in future releases. I will revise my review if it breaks during my next fishing trip, or if the fish just jump into it.Nice value for the money.

Well made net. Feels very solid in the hand and the collapsing mechanism is nice and tight. Rubberized netting dries quickly. Save yourself the trouble and get this over a cheaper one.

This net is compact yet large enough and in particular, deep enough to land fish, keep them in the net, while you unhook, and take pictures with a minimum amount of stress or damage to the fish when releasing them .. Locks are positive. It seems very sturdy without being too heavy .. And the frame floats! Great net!

Easy to fold and travel. Easy to extend and sturdy when extended. Well thought out design. It works well for me.

Exceeded my expectations. The belt clip is sooo much better than a net holster or trying to fetch the net behind my back attached to my vest with a magnet. When clipped to my wader belt it retracts and folds easily, staying in place when walking/wading rough terrain. It telescopes and locks securely just long enough to net fish from my boat and is great landing fish on land, avoiding the need to kneel to land a fish.

I needed a bigger space saving net for my kayak pike fishing. This is working great!!!
