Definitely worth it for the price
Awesome device. Have some extra PS4/Xbox One S/X controllers lying around and want to save some cash? This adapter is an awesome alternative to the Nintendo Switch pro controller. I have used the pro controller and I like it but it's a bit of a steep price new, especially when there are other alternatives like this adapter. I noticed no input lag or control problems while using a PS4 controller on my Switch. It works wonderfully. There is however one small feature I didn't know about this adapter that doesn't work, and that is you can't turn on the Nintendo Switch with a synced PS4 controller. I could be wrong though, correct me if that's the case. But that's not a big deal for me cause I have easy access to the power button on my Switch. One trick I'll add (and you can see in my picture) is that most likely this adapter won't fit inside the Nintendo Switch dock out of the box, but if you have some sandpaper you can sand the rubber/plastic side of the HDMI cable going into the Switch down by a little so this adapter can fit. Hope this helps!

Very nice!
I'll get the one bad thing out of the way first: It's just a tiny bit too wide to fit in the dock's USB port "inside" the dock, between power and HDMI. Not a deal breaker by any means,as it's small.Xbox One and PS4 pads work perfectly, with rumble and no perceptible lag. The PS4 pad even works with motion control, making Mario Odyssey play amazingly. At nearly 1/4 the cost of a Pro controller, if you have a spare Xbox or PS4 game pad, buying this is a no brainer.

Use Xbox one and Series S/X controllers on Switch
This product works great. All Series S wireless controllers work and the blue tooth Xbox one controllers work (the controllers that aren’t Bluetooth are the older ones that don’t have a headphone jack on the controller.) Speaking of the headphone jack, you will not be able to use headphones through the Xbox controller with this device I wasn’t expecting it to do this but I did check it anyway.I didn’t notice any lag. Also I want to note it pairs quickly however it didn’t work for me the first time, but after doing a quick google search I found out that you have to go into the setting of the Nintendo switch itself into the controller settings and change a setting to wired pro controller (it’s set to wireless by default and technically the system detects this adapter as wired pro controller)

Product works great with similar delay to the JoyCon's - connected my PS4 controller and 2x PS3 controllers.
Product works perfectly - connected my PS4 controller and 2x PS3 controllers.Obviously, you'll need to go to the 8bitdo website and download the most recent software, but that's obvious with technology. They even include a nifty little cable to use it while playing handheld! Obviously, the cable won't let you stand the tablet by itself, as it's on the bottom - but if you can prop it up somewhere you'll be able to use it as good as it was when it's docked. Not a bad adapter as far as delay is concerned either - pretty much as the same amount of delay when playing with the joycon's in docked mode.

System crashes using this
EDIT: This big is fixed with a firmware update available from 8bitdo support. This is a great adapter.I picked a pair of these up to use with my Wii U pro controllers. At first everything seemed great, working as it was supposed to. But after a few minutes playing Smash Ultimate my switch completely crashed, and I had to force it to shut down. After a few more minutes playing it happened again. This also happened in Mario Kart 8, so I know its not just a compatibility issue with smash. I really want to like this little adapter, but if I can't get more than a couple games in before a crash its worthless.

Great Addition to the Switch.
I was kinda nervous buying this product because it almost seemed like a scam. I’m glad to report it was not. I was looking to alternatives to buying the expensive Switch Pro Controller. I now use my Xbox one controller on the Switch It is a bit confusing getting set up at first because my Xbox one controller kept turning on my Xbox even after disconnecting it several times. Anyway once I got it connected it works great.I only used it on switch and with an newer Xbox one controller. I didn’t not try it on pc or with other controllers.

Amazing
Bought it ahead of time for Smash with a brand new DS4 and I wasn't disappointed! Rumble works across most everything, tilt controls work like a dream with Mario Kart, and I can't discern any lag whatsoever. And then when I carry the adapter over to the PC, it works like a dream there! As long as you can live with most games thinking its an Xbox gamepad. And since I don't ever have to reconnect the controller, its so flippin fast to switch between systems. Love it!

Very nice alternative to replacement Joy-Cons
The device fits easily into the back of my Switch dock. After updating the firmware (which was easy as well) I plugged this in and paired my Xbox One controller. The only issue I had was with my original Joy-Cons connected this would not show the Xbox controller at all. After turning the system off and manually pressing the power button it's worked fine since. It makes a great alternative to replacing Joy-Cons (my left one is drifting badly and the right will not hold charge well). So I highly recommend it, if nothing else as a backup if your Joy-Cons quit working.
