I tried several plastic replacement shower heads, but none of them improved our spray, and they leaked. The HammerHead shower and its parts are all made of metal! The packaging is excellent, and every effort is made to ensure the parts are protected. You are provided with extra washers, nozzles, and the Teflon tape necessary to attach and seal the shower holder to the shower arm. The shower holder is adjustable and fits the shower handle perfectly. Again, it is made of metal, unlike almost every other option out there. A nice touch is the caps on the metal hose, which clearly differentiate between the hose ends, ensuring you install it correctly. Also, all the required washers are already in place. Some of the washers have a screen filter to prevent debris from entering the shower head. We have the 2.5 gpm model, and the flow is excellent. The water sprays from the floor of the shower to just about the top of the wall. Being metal, the shower handle is heavier than the plastic one, but it is still comfortable to hold. The grip is smooth, but it might become slippery; however, it hasn't been an issue for us. The metal handle can transfer some heat, but it never gets too hot to hold, and some may like the warmth. There is the HammerHead Showers Skark Skin Silcon Grip that fits perfectly and increases grip. We purchased the grip and will review that item separately. We like the HammerHead Showers All Metal Handheld Shower Head so much that we bought another on the same day the first one was installed. There are many colors and finish options available to fit any bath decor. We would highly recommend it.

This is the shower head I've been searching for! I've been using recognizable, name brand, handheld shower heads for decades. They all offer numerous different spray options, are predominantly plastic, with gears and moving parts that eventually leak or fail. All I've ever wanted was ONE, POWERFUL shower stream to clean me and the shower efficiently and effectively. You can feel the quality of the solid metal construction of the Hammerhead in your hands. It produces a strong, concentrated, satisfying flow of water. The design is sleek, simple, and lovely. The brushed nickel finish is beautiful and blends well with all the other brushed nickel fixtures in the bathroom. So far, it has resisted any spotting or staining. This showered is worth every penny. I highly recommend.

You won’t be disappointed in making this switch! I had a basic shower head where the water pressure was quite sad. The main reason I purchased this shower head was to make cleaning the shower much easier. The increased water pressure is just an extra perk! It was very easy to install too. I’ve noticed my hot water is warmer also but I can’t really tell you the mechanics on why that is. Go ahead and spend the money, you’ll be glad you did!

Love the quality of these Hammerheads! Very solid and give a very nice pressure of water. I had to remove the water constrictor which is highly recommended. I got 3 Hammerhead showers in my home and gave one to my sister.

My first impression is that this is a nice showerhead that is exactly as advertised. It delivers very good pressure compared to most others on the market today. I only gave it four stars because I would prefer for the spray pattern to be a tiny bit wider. This might just be a personal preference. I didn't use the hose or holder.

Easy to install, quality product! I'm 74 woman and I took the old head off and installed this totally by myself. It came with everything you need except the channel plyers I used to tighten it. It even had plumber's tape. Be sure and use the tape because the old head had that and it made it easy to remove. I just took my first shower with it and it was great. I need to use a shower chair when I wash my hair, because I get tired. This is in a tub shower so it was much easier to get on and off that chair because I had plenty of room. Our other shower is just a shower and hard to use the chair. In love!

I have gone through a multitude of big box store shower head brands most are expensive , feature laden plastic pieces of crap that last maybe a year .The Hammerhead is the real deal , all metal construction , with metal fittings set this unit apart. No leaks , great pressure, easy to install make buying this an easy choice.

This shower head is definitely more expensive than some of the cheaper models available. However, living in a house with low water pressure, this shower head had significantly improved the shower pressure. It’s also made entirely of steel and of good quality. Overall, my wife and I are very happy with it
