Works perfectly
Easy to install. Just take out the old plug and screw in the new one. Quick couple makes rinsing out engine easy and fast. Downside is this seems way overpriced for two little pieces of plastic! But looks like they have a monopoly on the market.

Cover on water inlet
this was quite a bit more expensive, but it's well-made and it has a cover on the inlet so I like it

Short term failure
I bought two for twin Yamahas. They installed great and worked great when new. In only three months, the spring mechanism in both units failed to work smoothly. This meant that after flushing, the reconnect wasn’t reliable, leading to the hose end disconnecting while the boat is in operation. They do not have any dirt or debris plugged in the connection. The spring mechanism simply is failing to push the collar back and secure the hose. I do not recommend these. I am now looking for a higher quality unit.

Boating easier with this adaptor!
Great addition to our boating experience! Makes flushing of the engine and power unit a breeze. Why Mercury has not simplified this on their own a mystery to me. Everyone I have talked to has said what a pian it is to flush their engine without this adapter.Easy to install and it makes this necessary task a lot easier.

End Goal Accomplished, but some parts don't fit on Mercury V10 models
The quick connect adapter that connects to the flush outlet fits perfectly and does its job. I have the Mercury V10s, and the right angle adapter and hose clamp do not fit. There is no working room to make the right angle cut and adjustment, and the hose clamp included is too small. Would have to use zip ties. End goal of quick connect will still work, but half of the kit is not usable for my engines

Once you buy you won't regret it! Makes flushing your motor a breeze.
I put this on my 350 Mercury Verado and what a breeze it is to flush the motor now. Wish I would have thought of it first!!
