Not Strongly Held Together
The day this got shipped to us, we opened the box and noticed that one of the connecting plastic pieces was broken. After reaching out to the seller to inquire about replacing the broken part, we were turned away and asked to contact Amazon directly. Only a couple of weeks later, more of the connecting plastic pieces broke. We did not use the play pen roughly so I would describe it as slightly brittle (the plastic pieces at least). Aside from that, it keeps our Blue Heeler puppy in with no problem; though we had to use zip ties. I hope this helps.

Good for climbers
5 star with one caveat. The connectors between the panels and for the door are plastic and break easily when shipping and assembling (once up, I think they're fine). Be very careful when taking it out of the box and setting it up. That said, the company was very responsive about damage. The pen itself is great, nice height, generous pen size, looks nice (for a dog pen), door is very handy and the vertical bars finally keep a climber contained.

Smartly Engineered.
5 Star design, vertical bars keep the dog from climbing over and 5 stars for customer service. A plastic clip was damaged in shipping and I contacted Pet Trex and they sent me a new one, no problem. I am very pleased with this product, plenty of room inside. The dog, however turns his head sideways, bites the bars and growls at me, which is hysterical. (He isn't big enough to bend the bars, we'll have to wait and see.)

Well constructed pen
Your Doggie pen is a great product very well constructed. I look forward to using it on my Great Dane pup next week when I get him. Better than crating. At first, I thought it was a little on the higher end of pricing however when I received it I was such great material.

great for dogs who climb!
I purchased this pen for my puppy who could climb out of a normal pen. I needed one with vertical bars so she could not put her paws on it. This pen is very tall and spacious. It is perfect for what I need it for! Only issue I had was a broken piece but I contacted the company and they solved my issue quickly! I would order from this company again just based on the excellent customer service.

great for a new puppy
We have a new labrador puppy and this pen has been the best investment, it is big enough for him to have space and the best part he can't climb out of it, my daughter actually ordered one for her pup as well.

Poorly made and multiple broken parts
Almost every plastic panel connector on this dog pen was broken when I took it out of the box. All the styrofoam packing was also broken and there were broken plastic pieces in the bottom of the box. The main plastic piece on the gate was also broken. I would not buy this item again. The metal bars seemed fine but the plastic panel connectors are cheap and obviously break easily.
