GUND Sanrio Official Hello Kitty Cupcake Plush, Stuffed Animal for Ages 1 and Up, Pink/White, 8”

Got this for my granddaughter for her 7th birthday. She loved it.

I did not expect it to be as big as it was, I was thinking it was really tiny but the overall quality of the plushies gives you a bang for your buck.

I was expecting something like a squishmallow for some reason, but this isn't really like that. The stuffing is more firm, and it's pretty smallThe texture is a bit odd on the top part - it feels like a cross between felt and really soft velcro, in that it's textured and interesting to feel... and still soft, but not as pleasant to cuddle against (especially the patches of different colors). The bow and bottom are a more typical soft fabric.It's still quite cute, and my daughter likes it, but it's not her favorite (I think due to the texture).The stuffy is about 8 x 9 inches in size.Made in China.

Absolutely adorable it looks just as pictured. I bought my daughter the hello kitty bakery set with the apron and oven mitts (also on Amazon) and this was a great addition!

The combination of Gund and Hello Kitty sounds like the perfect marriage. I used to have tons of Gund animals like Snuffles and several pandas. For this reason I was expecting a soft and well-made stuffie. This cupcake is a nice size at 8 inches. The base cup has a slight stiffness to it to give it structure but it is still soft. The head is adorable and soft as you stroke it downward. When you move your hand upward, however, it feels rough. I wish they had made the fur a tad longer which may have helped it feel softer. While it is sewn well, it is slightly tight somehow and you can see in the photo there are wrinkles along the chin that can’t be smoothed out. Love this collection just wish it was a little softer.
