a sweet story
although there really isn't a plot, this story is still an entertaining read. a group of friends share an apartment, renting out the spare room to a different exchange student in each chapter. it is a sweet story til the end. recommended

Love!
I love this book. It was a series of really cute slice of life stories and the inside was all printed in brown ink so it gave the overall comic a much softer feel. Highly recommend!

Unique Manga with a Lot of Heart
La Quinta camera is a story about four men with four very different personalities living together in an apartment in Italy who occasionally rent out their spare room to foreign exchange students. There isn't a lot of action or drama in this book as it takes a look at the regular lives of everyday people who are helping and watching out for each other through their important life milestones. A series of exchange students move in and out of the fifth room throughout the story, allowing the core group of friends to constantly grow, evolve and celebrate together. The style is extremely unique and doesn't use the typical art that's so popular in manga today. Simplistic and visually appealing, I felt that the style lent itself well to the context and environment of the story. While there wasn't much going on I still connected with the characters and truly enjoyed reading this and seeing how these people went about their daily lives was surprisingly entertaining and heartfelt. Natsume Ono also adds quite a bit of information regarding Italian customs and language through the four main characters explaining them to their foreign guests. I really liked the striking differences in storytelling and art that La Quinta Camera offered, it was a nice change of pace from your ordinary manga titles.IN SUMMARY:La Quinta Camera is a slice of life manga filled with interesting characters, unique art and a lot of heart.

Another great series by Natsume Ono!
BUT the kindle version cuts the edges off the pages. really annoying as it renders some text bubbles unreadable. bummer.

La Quinta Camera
The book was in wonderful condition, no signs of damage or any worn whatsoever. The book itself has now become a personal favorite of mine, and I often find myself flipping through it; It is a simple story, but contains pleasant twists.

It's nice to see Natume Ono's earliest work
This book is a short contained set of vignettes surrounding four pals sharing an apartment. It's nice to see Natume Ono's earliest work. While it may have been her debut work, her signature touching, subtle story telling is in full effect here.
