Good for messages.
I use a lot of magnesium skin products to help with relief after a hard day hiking and digging as an archaeologist. I've used a lot of sprays and lotions containing magnesium in the past and am familiar with them.Pros:Easy to squeeze bottle allows me to be more concise about the amount I administer at any given time. This worked like others I've used in the past with about the same success.Mild smell. Not cucumber sadly, but rather just 'clean'. It's not overwhelming, but might have slight notes of eucalyptus, which is one ingredient. Not sure exactly what I'm picking up in the smell. This feels a lot like aloe gel and works well for messages. Not tested on animals.Certified allowed input (#12837) which I think is a certification for raw ingredients or organics though I could not verify this certificate online.Australian owned company and manufactured in the United States according to their website.Cons:This was sticky and difficult to absorb. I had to do a lot of rubbing to get this to dry even applying a little bit of the product and, because it dried sticky, found myself having to wash it off later. This had some ingredients not mentioned in the listing such as eucalyptus, which I'm not a fan of. This also includes Benzyl alcohol and dehyroacetic acid, xanthum gum and glycerol.I wish this smelled like cucumber. This advertises as "cucumber stem cells" but I'm not exactly sure if this is a thing. I tried to find more info on this but only came up with sea cucumber stem cells, sea cucumbers be an ANIMAL. This seems to be a skin care catch phrase with no real foundation from multiple companies I found online offering plant stem cell products. There might be more to this, but this is not well defined.... anywhere.I wish this would actually note how much magnesium you are receiving in a given amount. I have no idea how much I'm getting. This notes 166% natural organic magnesium on the front, but that can not be correct as this product isn't just magnesium nor do they list dose amount. Very confusing.I don't know why the barcode is marked out, but this is giving clearance shelf vibes.Overall, this doesn't seem to be a bad product. It offeres the same relief as others I've tried and like wise, sticky like them. I think, as a message gel this really has it's place. At the present price of $16.99 this is probably with in fair market value for gels or lotions containing magnesium.

Soothing and effective for muscle relief
This magnesium gel has been a lifesaver for muscle soreness after my workouts. The gel absorbs quickly and provides a cooling sensation, which is very soothing. The addition of organic cucumber gives it a refreshing scent without being overpowering. I’ve found it especially helpful for muscle cramps, and it’s gentle enough for my sensitive skin. Highly recommend for anyone needing effective muscle relief after exercise.

Dried my skin
I was excited about this ointment but sadly it has given me skin issues. Dried out my neck and caused a lot of skin issues.

A fine quality, mild magnesium gel
I am quite fond of this product. It is absolutely 100% unscented, and the presence of cucumber changes the product consistency - makes it smoother and more moisturizing. No harshness detected. Good magnesium gel for a "beginner" since it promises, somehow, to be "sting free." It wouldn't sting me anyway as I partake in these types of products constantly, but this one just seems very mild and comfortable to use. Super high quality. I can feel it work too on my stiff shoulders - the magnesium has an instantly soothing effect. One of the best magnesium products I've yet encountered. Absolutely recommended.

My Go-To for Muscle Relief: Magnesium Gel with Organic Cucumber
I recently started using Magnesium Gel with Organic Cucumber, and it’s been a game changer for the tension and pain in my hands! I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly it absorbs into the skin—no greasy residue left behind, which is a huge plus for me.When I first apply it, I love that gentle cooling sensation; it feels so refreshing! My hands feel instantly relieved and, honestly, just clean afterward. Plus, it’s fragrance-free, which I appreciate. There's no overpowering scent—just a neutral smell that doesn’t clash with anything else I might be using. If you're dealing with muscle tension or discomfort, I definitely recommend giving this gel a try. It’s safe for sensitive skin, and it’s become my go-to for quick relief!

Mellow organic cucumber gel. Luxurious, rubs in well. For me rubbing into forearm, or ankles.
I like this mellow gel. It feels thick, smooth, and luxurious while you are rubbing it in, and it comfortably absorbs into the skin on my feet and ankles. I apply it sometimes to soothe my nerves and make me relax. People might use Magnesium for cramps, sleep, mood, pain, headaches & more. There might not be enough evidence for me to tell you that it will work like this for you. This gel form seems more soothing than the oil. You will smell salt, and no scent is added. Be careful how much you dispense at once, as you might have an adverse reaction (I have not yet suffered tummy problems with this formula). It is up to you how you will use it or where to apply it. Neither will dry out my skin. Overall, I need to determine how effective one is over the other. I am trying to decide what will work for me, and you may react differently.I adore this lovely form of Magnesium, which comes in a tube as a gel. If you love these, too, get some for your family and friends. They wash off easily with lots of water, but clothing will probably need to be washed after exposure.Getting this is worth my money, and I still have magnesium oil in my cupboard because I like it, too.Enjoy!
