An excellent portable Oscilloscope
This scope is excellent. I am using it in the commercial HVAC field. I am able to see Bacnet/MSTP signals and RNET signals. The multimeter works well. I highly recommend this device.

Shame it was missing parts
This looked a good item however the one I was sent had the connector missing from the kit and it was refunded. They could not send out a replacement or the part which was missing however, it did look like a good item for the price.

Great for the money, but it was not a lot of money.
Received the meter very quickly, shipped via DHL from Hong Kong. The packaging was professional, and it came with a nice case and cables. The power adapter was not for the USA, so I just plugged the supplied USB cable into a powered USB Bus, and it charged in a few hours. I found the unit easy to use and setup. The display is bright if you turn on the back light, but a little small if you are use to a fluke 97, still, it is compact and not too heavy. The problem I ran into was that when set to AC scope input, it sloped my low frequency TTL input greatly, I had to use the DC setting to get the waves square looking again. Verified the signal against the fluke, so I know it's a meter issue. I didn't try it with a high frequency signal, maybe that is what it is setup for, but it's not a fluke, so I will live with it. I will be using the meter in the field to test IRIG-B time signals, and monitory RS-485 communications, and for that, it should work well and be a lot easier to tote around than my fluke, which is kind of delicate, and much heavier.

Learning from a pro
My cousin recommended this over all the other models on Amazon. My cousin was professionally trained in electronics by Raytheon. After spending some time with this unit, he actually likes this better than his very expensive Fluke unit which costs thousands. He has now decided to buy one of these. My advantage is that I can learn through his examples and I am seeing I made the right choice. No, it is not the cheapest choice, but in it's price range it is the best. The more I apply myself, the better the unit looks to me. Paying a little more for an excellent product will return countless unanticipated benefits as time goes on.
