The 3 colors in the pic are the only colors that have the colored core. Unless you use just the 3 colors they don't look right mixed the the soild beads. Don't know why they would put these together. I love the varity of colors and there are a lot of beads in the box.

The kit was mostly as expected, though the entire kit had only two "i" and one "j" letters and like 14 "x" letters. For the price ($17), the bead quality was fine with a few misshapen duds. I enjoyed the diversity of colors and the fun extras like the star and heart beads.

These are very nice glass beads. Some are clear and many are solid colors (which is what I chose out of the options). I have reviewed two other kids very similar to these and these are the same quality. This kit has a different look since a lot of the beads are solid (not clear) and the other kit's I mentioned were mainly clear ones. The colors in this kit are beautiful. They are all normal colors too in my opinion. One of the other kit's I've had, included three darker colors that were strange and matching them to other beads would be very difficult. There is only one color in this kit that I don't like at all. It is, I believe, a dark blue, but it look's like black (but they have a black one too which looks better).A few of the beads are scratchable since it is a paint coloring some of them. This is normal for certain glass beads from my experience. With the glass beads, some seem to be colored glass-like material, others are white beads that are painted the different colors (solid ones but not all of the solid ones). In the other kit's I've tested, it is only a few of the colors. That is the case in this kit too. It is a potential issue with maybe four or five colors out of all of the ones in this kit. They don't scratch easily, but a fingernail or metal can do so.The container is a common one sold with items like this and they are nice containers. If you had smaller beads in it (like the seed ones), it would prevent those from traveling between the individual compartments if you drop the case (when closed of course). It snaps shut securely. Opens and closes easily.There is one strange thing about this item. I noticed when I was looking at it, that some of the colors seemed to bee missing a few beads. Therefore, I started counting out of curiosity. They included different amounts of colors. Most of the colors contain about 24 beads, but a number were 27, and some were 22 or 23. That is kind strange but I don't see how it matters really. It might be best for there to be an even number beads for each color is all.One last thing, about 4 of the colors matched beads in the other kits I had (there were identical beads) which is nice in a way since you might need more of certain colors than one kit would provide. Other colors were a near identical match but one kit had clearer beads of the same color. That occurred with 2-3 colors.Conclusion, great kit. The colors are very unique and beautiful. Evenly coated and no broken/defected beads. Just different amount of the different colors is all.

This set is exactly as pictured in the product description. There is one small pair of flimsy scissors (I'll probably throw them out). There are also two small spools of 0.8mm cord, which is clear and slightly stretchy. There are 24 colors of glass beads in both transparent and opaque colors, 11 are transparent and 13 are opaque. The number of beads of each color varies. For example, i had 23 of the first one i counted, 26 of the next, 28 of the third, 24 of the fourth, etc. In total, I had 638 beads. Finally, there are silver and gold spacer beads. There should be 10 of each, my set actually had 10 silver and 16 gold, I suppose I just got lucky with the variability in packaging. The nice suprise though, not in the product photos, is that the spacer beads are studded with rhinestones along the edge. So, it looks like a bezel containing tiny diamonds. It did say diamond spacers, but I wasn't sure what to expect. Overall, a good value for glass beads.

Okay, I get that you can call the letters “randomized A-Z” to get out of providing adequate letter quantities, but honestly… Throwing a bunch of of Z, X, V, K, Q and W letters in with maybe 2 A, E, I and Os is really useless. There were ZERO Ns. I was drawn to this set for its seeming versatility but now I’ll need a separate set of letters anyways.I was looking forward to the polymer eye beads shown in the photo but those were replaced with another design.Also quite a few of the glass beads were defective, unusably so.

I am new to bead crafting, and these look like they are a good value for the money. I had four beads that were broken or misshaped. I'm looking for bigger beads with larger holes. These have a larger hole than some of my other beads, but not as large as I want. I like them though, and I know I will find a use for them.
