Works perfectly with my Sony DVD player
After years of expecting the lost remote to turn up, I bought a universal remote for my DVD player, but could never get it to sync. More recently, I sent back a "for Sony" remote which didn't work with my machine.This time I made sure the blurb included the model number of my player. Two AA batteries later, we're in business, with a remote which can control all the onscreen prompts, including subtitles.
