Nice for Fractal Design Ridge or other "flat" cases
Was looking for a good cooler for a AMD 7600X build in a Fractal Design Ridge case. AM5 MBs work with AM4 coolers that don't require a custom backplate, so was not able to use my first choice (Thermalright AXP-90). Installation was very straightforward, esp with AM5 having a backplate that is permanently attached to the MB.Testing this with the 7600X, enabling PBO with an offset is needed to prevent thermal throttling. Getting about 82-84 degrees with a Cinebench R23 run, with CPU fan running at 100%. Under gaming, temps are closer to 70 degrees for 1440p AAA games that aren't super CPU limited. The GPU fans become more prominent at this point. Another option is to just run ECO mode if you really want a quiet system and like 92-93% of the power of non-ECO mode (or just get a non-X variant CPU).Trickiest thing to find is RAM that will fit under the cooler (44mm clearance). I found that G.Skill Flare X5 fits perfectly, and as AMD EXPO compliant to boot. I imagine Corsair LPX would also work well, but prob can forget about anything that has RGB in it.I also tested an older Scythe Big Shuriken 3 and that unit ran several degrees warmer in the same config. I noticed that the orientation of the heatpipes is 90 degrees rotated compared with this cooler, but not sure if that caused an issues as I have had good success with this cooler in other builds. The AXP-120 is definitely heavier than the Big Shuriken 3, and heatsink mass def affects performance.A mod to consider is upgrading the fan to a Noctua NF-A12-15. Generally, these have a better noise profile to performance than other low profile fans. I had hopes of installing a full 25mm fan, but there isn't enough clearance in the case for it.Really happy with this setup and I don't think there's a better cooler to be had other than maybe the Noctua L12 Ghost Edition, which is significantly more expensive for comparable performance, albeit maybe quieter due to the better fan.

For the price you can't beat it.
I built a new PC and originally bought an Enermax AIO Liquid cooling system. While it was better than the stock Wraith cooler it simply didn't do a great enough job over stock. I gave this unit a chance because I didn't want to spend a 100 dollars for a cooling solution. I am currently running my Ryzen 7 5800, overclocked to 4.2ghz from 3.4 with a minimum temp of 32 degrees C, and a max of 52C under gaming load. That's a much tighter range than the stock cooler or the AIO cooler which was running 35C to 85C max... To top it off it's a low profile cooler that has enough clearance for my Mini ITX Thermaltake 100 case and my standard sized DDR4 RAM.

Perfect.
I've been assembling pc's for a long time. In my opinion, Thermalright has been the champion maker of heatsinks for many years. This particular model is cooling, very capably, an Intel i7-975 Extreme Edition. I like that it has a low profile, which means I need not concern myself for fit in another case I am planning for it. Fan is nice, too.

Works great even in an ATX Application
I merely wanted the aesthetic of a low profile cooler on my Ryzen 5600 but wanted to install this on my Asus B550-F motherboard. I was a little concerned that it wouldn't fit over the I/O area but there is plenty of room. Keep in mind, the model I bought was the 67mm version. Works great!

Cold as heck
This cooler surpassed my expectations. Combined with the CPU bracket made by Thermalright, my stock I-5 124000 tops out at 65c under a max stress test running for 20 minutes. This cooler also cools the entire mainboard because it faces toward the motherboard. So not only are my CPU temps low, so are all the rest of the components on the main board. Very happy with this purchase. Very underrated.

Works
Needs low pro memory on a mini itx board. Working in a louqe raw s1 on an Intel 12100 with no heat issues. Have room to swap to a 25mm thick fan if need be in this case. Easy to install.

Price to performance
This is a really good cooler. I have a Ryzen 7 5700 G and it cools it no problem. At idle it s a nice 27 degrees celsius and under full load it averaged out at 71 degrees celsius. At the price listed i was surprised.
