Easy to use, and sounds great
I have been using this product for over a year. The sound quality is not sacrificed, sounds just as good as a regular AUX Cable. The range is about 15 feet to my speaker. Built strong and has lasted me close to 2 years. Connects easier than most of the speakers i have, almost instantaneous once all set up. For the money this was the best investment for my projector on concert night.

Worked great transmitting and receiving
I bought this for two potential needs for a vacation around the world with my wife. First, we had very long flights each way and my wife wanted to be able to use her bluetooth headset on the plane watching movies. It worked perfectly through the entire flight for movies and music. Next we expected we might need it in the rental campervan. On a previous trip we had no good way to play music through the vehicle's sound system because it didn't have working bluetooth and we didn't start with an aux cable - also our phones don't have headphone jacks. We planned to transmit from our phones to the device and plug it into the aux jack on the radio. We did this for a little while until we figured out the bluetooth on the van. It worked great until we found we didn't need it. Regardless, we were really happy with it.We have thought of some uses for transmitting to two different headsets from a phone, as well (audio walking tour or audio book) or perhaps to two different wireless speakers at a part. Those are opportunities for the future!Next, it was super easy to use. On the Amazon description page, including in the questions, there is a lot of technical jargon about different formats and things that I know nothing about. Don't worry about any of that. You just need to select transmit or receive, turn it on, VERY easily pair it to your device, and go!

Bluetooth connection is not stable
I bought it mainly for the promised Bluetooth connection with headphones, but it's unreliable—I have to pair them every other time.

Does what it says
I bought this to be able to use my Bluetooth headphones while playing games on my old consoles (PS2 and PS3), as my TVs aren’t Bluetooth capable and I live in an apartment with zero soundproofing. It took a bit of finagling initially to get everything working (I realized I actually needed to get a Toslink adapter because of one TV’s weird audio ports, but that’s not a knock on this device — just be smarter than me and make sure you know what connections/cables you will need before setup). But once that was all settled, it’s been working flawlessly. I have my PS2 and PS3 on two different TVs, and I love how seamless it is to move this little device from one to the other for instant Bluetooth audio. Quick to connect to my paired headphones each time and doesn’t drop the connection. There definitely is some feedback noise if you have it charging while using it, but the battery lasts so long I haven’t had any issue just unplugging it during use and letting it recharge after. And while I’m sure there is some degree of latency as with any Bluetooth transmitter, I haven’t found it noticeable at all when playing games — this point was very important to me so gold star for performance. For the price I’d say this is a great value.

AAC is only available in RX mode
This Bluetooth transmitter/receiver comes with a USB-A to USB-C charging cable, a stereo minijack to stereo minijack cable, a stereo minijack to stereo minijack metallic connector, and a stereo minijack to RCA cable -- covering all the bases, except a notably absent airplane adaptor, although these legacy connectors have practically disappeared from most modern aircraft. One switch on top allows you to select between TX mode (you plug its jack into an audio source and connect to it with bluetooth headphones) and RX mode (plug it into a stereo's RCA jacks or non-Bluetooth headphones and connect it to a Bluetooth audio source). In RX mode, you can pair and connect simultaneously to two sources (for instance a phone and a tablet) although only one can play at the same time. In TX mode, you can connect and play to two devices simultaneously (for instance, two sets of headphones) a nice feature.AptX, AptX HD, AptX Adaptive and of course SBC are supported in both modes, however AptX Low Latency is only supported in TX mode and AAC is sadly only supported in RX mode, a real shame because it means it can't stream high quality audio to AirPods -- a poor choice for an otherwise great device. One final gripe, the device indicates its status with plain LEDs behind a translucent window printed with the meaning of the lights. I'm practically certain the print won't survive frequent handling (for instance if you use it on the plane) rendering the lights pretty much useless. I guess it made it cheaper to manufacture, but it's not good.TL;DR: Not recommended for airplane use in conjunction with AirPods or Beats headphones; for that use case, ideally your headphones should carry the "AptX LL" mark.Great battery life (15 hours in TX mode)Versatile device that can be used as a transmitter or a receiver.Almost perfect -- the lack of AAC support in TX mode kills it for me though (to be fair, the manufacturer does mention it on this page, but it's easy to miss and I imagine most people won't understand what it means and just see "Ooh, AptX, that means good!" and won't even realize their headphones are not compatible anyway)

Good
The audio quality is actually pretty good. There is just a little bit of static though at high volume when there’s no sound, but it’s not noticeable when there is sound.I use this to use my AirPod pros with my VR headset. My pc aux to this, then the Bluetooth to my AirPods, works great.Build quality is mid though. Seems like the buttons can break easily and the plastic shell could break too
