Great book!
Laura Alcoba has a very special way of sharing her personal trauma with the world. The book is written from the eyes of a child but with the knowledge of an adult, which makes this read extraordinary. In short, an amazing book on an intense subject. A must read if you are interested in Argentina's past and the trauma which it accompanies but want a refreshing perspective.

OK for a quick read.
A short book, more of a novella really, written like a memoire. Quite a good read, but not particularly moving or enlightening.

Child's Memoir of a Terrible Time
A short memoir of a child whose parents were urban guerrillas in 1970s Argentina. They assumed false identities and had to change addresses frequently. The rabbits in hutches are the cover for the Montoneros printing press hidden in the house where they are staying. The book is a collection of "sweet" vignettes more than anything, but the author does capture the fear of those years under the junta.
