Works well, fits a Surefire G2 just fine, excellent value for the money
I have two of these in white 1000 lumens, and two in the red. All work fine in my Surefire G2 flashlights. The LED unit comes with two springs attached, one large and one small. Pop the large one off, then double check that the back portion of the unit is on screwed tightly to the front half. After installation, the front end of my G2s seal up just fine. So far, the units seem to be pretty durable, I've dropped them a few times on accident with no ill effects. I imagine they are probably as durable as the incandescent Surefire bulbs that come with the light at 1/4 to 1/3 the price. I'm not up on color spectrum stuff, but I like the very white light these put out in white, and the red seems very bright for a LED.Both the white and the red LED units have a most of the light well centered in the middle of the beam, which I like since my lights do not have the ability to change the focus. The red light was visible on the front of the house down the street at 80-90 yards, there is a street light in between us, plus some yard lights. Therefore, I think the red units will easily illuminate objects 100-150 yards away in darker situations. These are going to be loaner hog hunting lights to mount on friend's rifles. Are the white or red LEDs really as bright as claimed? I doubt it. But I have a number of lights and the brightness ratings don't seem to be accurate on any of them. The reflector shape and quality and the power source can male a lot of difference. These units seem to have a regulator in them that allows you to use a number of different batteries with varying voltages, keep an eye on what type of voltage your power source is, and I doubt that you'll have any issues.I've had the Surefire lights for years, but they were just sitting around unused since I HATE buying the 123s they normally take. At $1 per battery, times two batteries for a little over an hour run time, it wasn't worth running the lights when I have others that are brighter and use rechargeable batteries with much longer run times. These LED units make the old school G2s useful again at a minimal cost.BTW, I now run my G2s on 16650 rechargeable batteries because 18650s won't fit in a G2, and the 16650s work everywhere I've tried them in place of 18650s, just with a little less power reserve. Still, they beat buying disposable 123s, and with the LED unit, they run a long time.

Bright and clear RED
Bright and clear red bulb. Surprisingly gives 50 plus yards of light. Does not have a concentrated hotspot and it is a wide beam. Dropped it into a Lumens factory Seraph body with a Streamlight 18650 rechargeable battery. Seems to be a great package. Worked well for this application.

Work, but they over drive the LED with higher voltage.
Works as expected, but I think they are over driving the red LED with too much forward voltage. The red LEDs usually require less voltage (between 2.2v and 2.6 volts) then say a white LED that runs at 3.7 volts.

Good deal
Fit my Surefire G2 just fine, I did have to trim a half inch of the spring. Very bright, throws far

Processing issues?
I ordered a Quanity of 2 white lights and somehow got them shipped separately. The first one came in red and I'm still waiting on the other. Fairly confused about the entire deal. For a red bulb I guess it is ok. It works, but I do not know the specs or use as I didn't order it. I now have to spend energy and time dealing with a return.
