this is an edit to my previous review which tbh was a little premature, it's either that or these have burned in a bit? I have over 50 sets of earphones/headphones from £10-250. these littel things really punch above their weight, def an above average sound at the budget level. These challenge sets £30-50.Bass - Nice and deep, decent resolution too. Doesn't doinate buy gives a nice fun factor.Mids - Decent detail, perhaps a tiny bit recessed with certain songs, vocals are slightly forward and sound good. Again though they have good clarity.highs - Most budget sets can never gets treble right in my experience, but these have nice detail up top and decent clarity and sparkle.Soundstage - Above average, big sound to them. These are def V shaped... so bass and treble get a little more emphasis than mids. But not a bad thing, it's a fun sound.At this price point these are one of the best value budget sets you'll get.They also look nice and are pretty small. i like the fact they have a big L and R on the back of the housing. Getting the right tip was a challenge, i ended up with a small/medium rubbery tip from another set of mine. I was having a bit of difficulty finding a silicon that stayed in. Foam tips worked well too without changing the sound too much.I was going to give them 4 stars, but then i need to remember they need to be judged against other budget sets and for that reason they are worthy of 5

OK, lets start this with the most important aspect: the Audio - These earphones from APIE generally have pretty good audio for the price with little distortion except at nearly max volume (where it is really to loud to listen to comfortably anyway). However, they are slightly too bass-heavy for my liking, though if that is what you like then these are great overall.Design - These earphones have a very nice (subjectively of course) industrial design with the wood finish, exposed metal and copper-like cable. They are built well and seem to be lasting well so far after a month of use.Packaging - They come in a nice little box with a large variety of ear bu sizes including a memory foam set! Along with a simple little carry bag to keep everything neat.Overall, a very nice cheap set of earphones that feel pretty premium and have good audio if not outstanding. Very happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend!

I bought 2 pairs (one for the wife) seeing as the price was what I wanted to spend on some gym headphones that will no doubt break or give me a shock in the ears (does that happen to anyone else?).However, I really hope they don't break as they look and sound great! I like going against the grain (get it?) and getting something different from the vast choice out there.They sound great for what I need. I'm no audiophile but they honestly sound like they've been built with better components than should have for the price.Summary. If you're on the fence, go for it, you'll be surprised.

You will not best these for value.I prefer the sound quality to some beats I head.The sound quality is not an issue. The buds look and feel like very up market units.Included are a wide range of replacement buds to fit different size ears and lap some dense foam varieties.You also get a hard case and a soft carry bag for the headphones.If I was to be picky I would say the microphone unit could use a volume switch. As someone else mentioned the wires aren't anti tangle like some flat variants but not a great issue.The Jack component is a large metal component and reinforced to the cable to prevent damage to the area wear a lot of cables fail, similar to some b and w headphones I have.Buy quick before they realise they are selling these headphones too cheap!

Just a great pair of headphones. I've had a few pairs on in-ear headphones over the years and these may even be the best of the lot. There seems to be a deep bass fetish out there which often comes at the expense of definition and detail elsewhere on the sound spectrum; these ones strike the balance beautifully and manage to pick out sound detail which I had not been aware of before. Highly recommended!

For the price, you can't really find a better looking pair of headphones. Wood finish looks fantastic, and the copper coloured wire looks sleek against the wood. As far as sound quality goes... it sounds great! Sure it won't be as epic soundeding as a £200 set of headphones... but for general listening I really liked it. Can go quite loud. Comfortable fit too! Most earphones like these slip out my ears, but these stay in perfectly.

Intricately packaged with my immense care.clear and good sound quality.initially when I tried the headphones had a large surge of noise in the left earphone......it's clear now.pleasurable times listening to music and talk shows on the mood.

I've put 5stars as delivery excellent (ordered in the evening delivered next day) only used once so far . So cannot really comment too much but sound pretty good to me very happy so far
