KJV Gift & Award Bible (Imitation Leather, Black, Red Letter) Imitation Leather – February 1, 2006

The media could not be loaded. The cover is lovely! The pages are good, slightly see-through but it’s not an issue. And the font is fairly small as well but I personally have no problem reading it. The whole thing overall is nice and I’m content.My first Bible is an earlier printing edition of this same one, it’s from 2013 (I still use it) and I thought to get another one of the same. I haven’t used the special features much, but the most I used was the maps and “words that have changed in meaning.” And I won’t neglect to mention the How to be a Christian page.I wasn’t really a believer yet when I started reading the Bible but I was seeking to know God, and this helped my understanding as I was reading through the gospels. I never had anyone explain the gospel of Christ to me face-to-face (even though I went to Catholic Church as a child…ehem). So I testify that it is possible to learn the gospel straight from the Bible, if your heart will receive it and be humbled, even if no one else is around you physically to tell you. But yes I just wanted to say my appreciation for the extra page putting the gospel message.And utmost thanksgiving be to the Father for allowing us to have His word, and to grant us the TRUE light of Jesus in the midst of this gross darkness in the world.Also Many folks wrest and twist the scriptures, but I can read them myself while praying for proper understanding through the Holy Ghost.We are saved and justified by God’s grace through faith in His beloved Son, seeing we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. We are shaped in iniquity! But worthy is the Lamb that was slain, who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood.As for the color, I may add a few scriptures:Ezekiel 10:1“Then I looked, and, behold, in the firmament that was above the head of the cherubims there appeared over them as it were a sapphire stone, as the appearance of the likeness of a throne.”Numbers 15:38-39“Speak unto the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them fringes in the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put upon the fringe of the borders a ribband of blue:39 And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the Lord, and do them ; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes…”And, Romans 6:18 “Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.”Praise God👑🙌🏼

What I was expecting and good deal

This gift and award Bible is as I expected. It is relatively thin and the text is pretty small. However it does have the King James Version which is harder to find out here in California, and therefore very much appreciated.

For the price, this is a nice Bible. I was looking for an inexpensive KJV to keep on hand, and this fills that role. The pages are not quite what I am used to, they seem to be almost like news print (without the smudging), but this is not bad. It even has the maps of Jerusalem and the Holy Land on the back few pages, which I have always enjoyed looking at. Overall this is a nice Bible for the price and I would buy it again.

This is an excellent edition of the Holy Bile King James version. Each book has a link in the table of contents. Inside each book there are links to each chapter. My favorite part in this edition is Suggested Reading Lists. There are several lists including "Help in time of need", "Historical highlights", "Spiritual Standards", "Dynamic Doctrines", and "Practical concepts". Each list has ten-twenty topics. For example, "Help in time of need" has "The was of salvation", "Comfort in times of loneliness", "Relief in time of suffering", "Guidance in time of Decision", "Protection in time of danger", "Courage in time of fear", "Peace in time of turmoil", "Rest in time of weariness", "Strength in time of temptation", "Warning in time of indifference", "Forgiveness in time of conviction".Each topic has several links to text suggested for reading. For example, "Comfort in time of loneliness" has links Psalm 23, Isaiah 41:10, Hebrews 13:5 and 6.I travel a lot. When I travel I take my Kindle 2 with me. I downloaded several King James Bible editions to my Kindle. I find that I use this King James Bible edition most frequently.

My son can be hard on things so I wanted to get a cheaper Bible so that he didn't destroy it the first week. So far, he's had it almost 6 months and it is still in good shape! He keeps it protected in a case, which of course helps, but it's not falling apart and has stayed in good condition all this time. His last Bible (which was a heavy paperback) was really in bad shape where the binding pulled apart from it and we were taping it so it was time for a new one. When we first got this Bible, it seemed cheap looking, but yet it is actually pretty good quality. I will definitely be ordering more in the future because the price is right and worth it.

I love this Bible it is written very nicely and i like how theres a section that tells you where to go in the book for different feelings and situations in our lives. I bought this for myself and am glad I did. I will enjoy reading this version of the word of God throughout my walk with Christ. I recommend this Bible to anyone for yourself and as a gift for loved ones.
