This isn't your cheap sticky-tape webcam, it's a professional-grade camera with a USB cord on it.It does produce 4K output, though there are trade-offs between frame rate, resolution and compression quality, since the interface limited by the bandwidth of USB 2.It's a solidly built thing, with an aluminum chassis and lens housing, tripod mounting threads and robust USB cable.There's no automatic focus or iris functions, it's all manual. This isn't great for moving targets, but very good for locking in on a specific object or area. Great for machine vision projects, time-lapse recordings and similar applications. The manual controls also offer a little bit of SLR-junior photographic artistry.UVC class compliant, so it should work on any fairly modern OS without additional drivers. If using on Linux, it's necessary to pass some V4L parameters to select MJPG compression instead of the default YUV2 in order to get high frame rates over USB.

Pro zoom optics
The media could not be loaded. Since it had no manual, I created this video to show how the three rings adjust the image. The optical quality is professional and suitable for recording presentations. Contruction is solid, and there are 2 holes for standard camera mounts.
