bright area lighting for garage.
100 watt Light is very bright, puts out a broad, diffused pattern. Product description recommends mounting at approx. 25' height ( 8 meters). I am mounting in an 8" high garage. Even though it is very bright, I do not think it would be as effective at 25' high, but it works great in my garage at eight feet high.Clear polycarbonate lens has textured light diffractors over each cluster of LED's that spread the light evenly. It does have a gasket seal between the clear lens and the LED circuit board. I do not plan to test it's water resistance though.Light came with a single page of instruction, in English and German.Approx. 20" power cord has 3 wires, with pre-tinned ends for easy connection with wire nuts. I attached a 3-prong plug because my installation location has an outlet on the ceiling.Checking the heat coming off the lamp after about 5 minutes of use, it was just warm to the touch, not hot. After about 10 minutes of use, it was very hot. Do not mount this lamp near draperies, flammable materials or in ceiling insulation. Be sure lamp housing has air circulation.Mounting bracket/ hardware included with the lamp is solid and secure. Requires small hex wrench (not included) to tighten bolts.

It's An Okay Light, Bright with a Good Price
The media could not be loaded. I found the UFO Light to be of very acceptable value. It' bright and functions well.I noted another review of it not testing to 100 watts. I did not test for that although I thought about it but decided against it because it's mostly inconsequential and I believe the reviewers specified findings and conclusions having no reason to doubt them. Most products, although not all but most shall we say... fudge, sometimes a lot when it comes to wattage and lumen ratings. When a product doesn't fully conform to the advertised specifications, it's not earth shattering news.I found a place for it while replacing a motion sensor that controls two security lights that had failed. I have another light that comes on inside the garage to alert me that the outside security lights are on before I open the garage door. If someone was just on the other side of the garage door, I certainly wouldn't want to open it!! That lamp was a 120W spot and burned out and the UFO light went up in its place. The UFO has much better efficiency and illumination compared to that obsolete quartz spot. While it does fit the sellers description, is price appropriate, it "mostly" met my expectations but I only find it acceptable.Four stars * * * * *

Well Made But Too Dangerous to Use (Read the details)
I have an application in an agricultural barn with a high inside roof and lots of dark areas to light. A bay light like this with lots of lumens is exactly what is needed. The unit is very strongly made with a thick aluminum casting with very serious looking cooling fins. It comes with a mounting bracket that allows some tilt if necessary. I have installed a few LED systems recently but this has the most fearsome array of LED's yet. It looks ready to light up a rocket launch. But it has a wiring problem.I have lived in the USA for 25 years, but I spent my younger years in England where I was familiar with the local wiring colors. So imagine my surprise when I looked at the wires on this lamp and saw brown, blue and green/yellow. It would have been nostalgic if I hadn't been horrified. But the label right next to the wires says 110V (whereas UK power is 240V). I have sufficient transatlantic experience that maybe I will be brave enough to experiment with the unit, but I suspect many electricians will take one look and reject it completely. If you want to try it yourself, in England BROWN is live, BLUE is neutral and GREEN/YELLOW is ground, or as they over there, earth. But who knows if they are connect like English systems. It doesn't give any sense of safety. So my review has to be 5 stars for everything except the wires. Zero stars for the wires.

Good
I was unaware that this light had to be wired.... I thought I would be able to just plug it in. So I just wired up in my work shop for extra lighting. Nice bright light for it's size

Great light for $25. Super bright and compact.
$25 is a great value. It has a 16" pigtail which is better than most. I've ordered other no-name LED high bay lights and most come with a 6" or 10" pigtail which is hard to install. It is pretty small for its high light output, so the LED density does create some heat. I measured the back at 140 degrees F after running an hour. That not bad, but something to be aware of. I'd make certain that it has some open air flow above it. Don't install in direct contact with insulation or drywall, etc. The mounting bracket is finicky and probably the only thing I don't like about this light. It is not bad enough to lose a star (still 5 stars) but the Allen screws are short and the thread quality is not great, so it's best to adjust the bracket on a work bench or standing on the ground. Don't wait until you are on a ladder to deal with setting the angle of the annoying bracket. Overall, a great light for the money. Made in China.

Bright LED light
Very bright LED lamp for the price. Pretty sleek and small for the output. Has a pigtail cord for hard-wiring (not an actual plug end if you are looking for that). Also it's 120V only (box actually says 110V), not multi-voltage 120-277V or similar. UFO style is so-called because it is shaped like a flying saucer. "High Bay" in the title may or may not be actually descriptive or just marketing since the actual box says "LED Mining Lamp." A mining lamp would likely be more akin to a lower mounting height (although I haven't really seen this term widely used here in the US for LED light fixture description) while actual high bay lights are meant to be mounted 20-40ft high in warehouses. So a high bay will have a very narrow beam if mounted at a lower height like in a garage while a "mining lamp" might(?) have a wider beam. I haven't had a chance to mount it in a high setting yet to check on the beam but the light is very bright nonetheless and seems to work fine.
