Grange T&G Ledged & Braced Gate 1.8m

I bought this gate after searching around for a replacement for my side gate between the house and garage. Initially saw the exact same gate on a specialist fencing retailers site and liked the look of it so I had a search on Amazon and happily found it for about £40 cheaper. It comes unfinished without any fittings or fixtures which is what I was wanting so I could add my own style to it. After I painted it and fitted the mounts and catches, the gate looks great with a nice curved top and sturdy bracing in a Z shape on the back.

A very sturdy gate. It was delivered well protected and earlier than predicted. Please note that for the purist, the illustration shows a LH hinged gate that appears to be hung on the right. There is no options to order L/H or R/H. Luckily my gate was the right way round for hanging.

This gate was delivered quickly. It was of a substantial construction and seemed well made. I had to re-size it slightly as it was slightly wider than I needed. This was easily done and did not effect the strength of the gate. At the price it was a good buy and better than any I had seen in DIY stores.

Good solid gate. Don't understand comments on which side to hang. Could have put hinges on either side!

This gate is so well made that my wife was so happy with it. For once she said my handy work was not below acceptable standard. I was glad that I had ordered it before the price increase (due to inflation I suppose) too.

Excellent gate. Delivered 20-days before schedule date. It has been treated which gave me the chance to check it out - it is very well made and I would give it a six if possible!
