Just like the band Kalmah I came across 'In Flames' on a music streaming site under the genre 'Melodic Death Metal'. I immediately felt an affinity with what they play and purchased this album. What is Melodic Death Metal? I don’t know however I know it’s whet my appetite to explore more current artists rather than just listening to King Diamond, Mercyful Fate, Dio, Yngwie J Malmsteen, WASP, Metallica, Iron Maiden etc…
