As a total beginner, I wasn’t sure if I was buying a drone or just an expensive way to crash into trees—but the DJI Mini 3 made me feel like a pro in no time. Setup was easy (even for someone who thinks “firmware update” is a threat), and the camera quality is chef’s kiss. Smooth flying, epic footage, and somehow I haven’t lost it on a rooftop yet.Battery life is solid, the controls feel intuitive, and the obstacle sensors saved me from a tragic mailbox collision. If you’ve ever dreamed of being a low-budget aerial cinematographer or just want cool vacation shots, this little guy delivers. 10/10 would crash gently again.

Best Valued DJI Beginner Drone! It's easy to fly and great for beginners who want to get into DJI drones. It's packed with lots of features like QuickShots that helps you record videos. It's camera quality is superb with up to 4K 30fps video. It's very stable in-flight (as long as you have at least 13 satellites/GPS connection) . There's lots of functionality in the drone that you can use for different occasions such as nature photography or just flying it for fun! At the time of writing this review, the DJI Mini 4 Pro was out and the DJI Mini 3 Pro was hard to find. I suggest getting the DJI Mini 3 Pro if you can find one that's reasonably priced and at a price you can afford since it does have sensors that assist you in-flight and can stop you from crashing into things as the DJI Mini 3 (non pro) does not have sensors except for downward sensors used for landing. This drone will still get the job done but everything comes down to personal preference and use case. If you value more features and increased safety, I suggest looking into the DJI Mini 3 Pro as I mentioned earlier or maybe the DJI Flip. If your into FPV, I suggest getting an Avata or an FPV drone rather than a drone like this since the FPV mode on the mini series or any other series than the Avata series is not truly FPV and doesn't fully submerge you into the experience of flying FPV.

Very easy to fly, I got this as my first drone being skeptical on it, I got the fancy one with the screen and it made it so much more worth it, not having to use my phone and having my phone able to look at the different no fly zones.In the ~2 years I have owned it, I had one crash with a tree at around 5mph, the drone recovered and continued to fly. I ofcourse landed it and inspected it, and nothing was wrong with it. I'd give it a durability rating of 8 or 9, just because of what my experiences with wrecks are (only 1 hopefully that's the only one).The picture and video quality is out of this world, I have gotten some of the best pictures I've ever taken with the mini 3, and still to thisnday I would go for the cheaper mini 3 than the mini 5.

It takes a while to set up but the camera quality and drone abilities are amazing. this thing is so cool and so fun to fly as a first time flyer it’s also easy to understand and does great in wind. super stable and connects to the remote quick and easy

This is my first drone. The DJI Mini 3 flies well but the fully charged battery doesn't seem like it lasts for the 31 minutes of flight time advertised. The Return to Home comes on rather quickly at about 21 minutes which serves its purpose but I was expecting better time overall. The included paper instructions from DJI are in tiny type and worthless. The best instruction on how to operate and fly the drone, after viewing many, was the DJI Mini 3 Pro and Mini 3 Tutorial by Otto Julian. It covers all the operation and buttonology for the RC remote controller with built in screen which is what I have. I do recommend the mini 3 but would probably go with the mini 3 Pro if I had to do it again because it has obstacle avoidance and waypoint functionality built in plus a couple more quick shot capabilities to mention a few.

No more hassle of using the phone to control the drone or take photos. This version eliminates the need for a separate device and enhances the overall user experience. The video quality also appears to be better compared to the previous DJI Mini 3 model. Highly recommend this for anyone looking for a more seamless and enjoyable drone flying experience.

This drone is great for beginners but be careful of the fly zones and trees when training, it’s very difficult finding a no fly zone anywhere, the bad drone community have ruined the system.Try at your own risk

This has changed the game for me! I love this drone. The best quality videos and pictures. It was easy to figure out all the features and flying. I’ve never flown a drone before this and now I’m a pro in my opinion lol.
