If your macbook battery has died, you'll have probably asked for quotes which will no doubt be super expensive. Doing it yourself is much cheaper, and if you're not much of a DIY electronics person, then it will take you 3 hours max if you're doing everything nice and slowly and carefully.Simply whip up a nice long youtube video, I'd recommend one where they do all the motions and you can follow along with every step and pause and play as you need. I'd recommend watching a quick summary video first so you have an idea of the total process first though. Removing the old battery is by far the most difficult part as it's really stuck on. BE AWARE that batteries can be dangerous. Do NOT simply tug as hard as you can to remove the old battery, because any damage to the battery can potentially cause it to set on fire or explode. I was a little bit careless at one point and the old battery started smoking. You must use the included cards to scrape away at the adhesive.This battery slots in nicely and has stickers for keeping the battery in place. The included screwdrivers are all that you will need, so it's a nice little set that has everything to get you going!Overall, I think it's a very good kit and is much cheaper than getting a shop to change the battery for you. Would highly recommend!

The battery arrived quickly and was packaged securely. It was also easy to install, thanks to the included tools. Once installed, the battery has been working great. It holds a charge very well and the battery life lasts a good amount of time. I'm able to get at least 8 hours of use out of it, which is great for a laptop battery.In terms of performance, the Battery is more than adequate for my needs. I've been able to use my laptop for a variety of tasks, such as web browsing, word processing, and streaming movies, without any problems. The battery has been able to keep up with my needs and has been very reliable.

This Egoway A1965 replacement battery comes well packaged in a sturdy protective box. The battery itself comes wrapped in an anti-static bag - a good sign. Installation tools and instructions are also included.Removing and replacing any MacBook battery is always a bit fiddly and time consuming (compared to batteries in other brands of laptop), but it's a straightforward process. The trick is knowing in advance exactly what is involved, in meticulous detail. It's a good idea to watch some online tutorial videos showing the whole process of opening your computer, removing the old battery, and replacing it with a new one (make sure the laptop in the video is the exact same model as yours). If you've never replaced an A1965 battery before, watching some tutorials will give you confidence and render you less likely to damage your computer.I recommend wearing an anti-static wristband whenever working inside any computer, even if you're only replacing a battery. These wristbands are cheap and they'll prevent you from inadvertently frying electrical components with static from your skin.This A1965 battery installed without any glitches. It's performing well - slightly outperforming the standard battery that comes in A1932 model MacBook Air 13-inch laptops. The true test of any laptop battery is how well it performs over time. Often there's a swift decline in performance, sometimes alarmingly so. I can't comment on that with regards to this particular A1965 battery, as it's brand new and freshly installed. It's doing well for now, though. And it comes with 12-month warranty, so it can be replaced if it begins to perform poorly during its first year.No criticisms. If that changes in the next 12 months I'll revise this review accordingly.

This battery has been a quality replacement for my MacBook Air 2018 model. The installation was a little tricky but I guess that is not the fault of the battery manufacturer, that is all on apple. The amount of special screws and glue you have to go through to get to the battery is a little intense, so do keep that in mind. On the plus side the way this battery was constructed I was able to install it in a way where I did not have to remove the main board.This has been a huge time and cost saver. Replacing this battery is a very delicate operation and should not be attempted by anyone without a solid experience in the disassembly of Apple laptops. If you do attempt it, go slow and have lots of patience and caution. I suggest maybe watching a video online showing you how to do it. I watched one twice and continued to watch it while I was doing the installation. It was rather easy, just fiddly.All in all, for the price this is a fantastic way to breathe new life into your MacBook that may be out of warranty. It is a little tricky to install but if you take your time you will get there.Hope this review helps.

If you are halfway capable of using a screwdriver, then replacing this battery should not be too difficult for you.I chose the route of buying this battery not from the Apple store because the Apple store did not have any in stock and I needed to replace the battery right away. Saved me about $300.

I replaced the battery in my MacBook air. It is very tedious but definitely doable if you pay attention and have some mechanical skills. Definitely watch a youtube video to learn how to do this as the instructions are pretty much useless. The screws are very small but this kit provides the correct torx screw drivers. Pay attention to removing the sticky tape on the existing battery and speakers as that is the hardest part.I didnt completely seat the battery connector and the laptop didnt work. I was kinda freakin until i pulled the back cover back off and checked everything and sure enough - it looked seated but it was not. Glad this worked out and good luck if you do this yourself.

Sehr gute Ersatzbatterie und auch das mitgelieferte Zubehör für den Austausch ist praktisch. Das einzige negative ist, der Stecker geht nicht leicht in das Socket. Resultat ist CPU und Lüfter auf 100%. Nach hin und her, habe ich bemerkt, dass der Stecker nicht wirklich sitzt, es muss wirklich hart gedrückt werden bis ein Klick passiert. Der Stecker von der Apple Originalbatterie geht butterweich rein und raus.
