Useless
Bought to track ovulation - should have gone for a more expensive one. Looks as pictured but the display is intermittent and the temperature is completely inaccurate. Have returned it for a refund.

Good clinical thermometer (no backlight)
The build quality and design are very similar to products that have been around a long time. It is very easy to use: press the button, put it in (mouth, armpit, bottom) wait about 30 seconds for it to bleep, then take it out and read the LCD.It doesn't have a backlight so you won't be able to read it in the dark. It switches off automatically (after an unusually long time).For accuracy, I tested it twice against two other similar thermometers. I got:Unbranded 35.4 and 35.8 (took 54 seconds)This one 35.6 and 35.6 (took 68 seconds)Boots 35.7 and 35.9 (took 90 seconds).The consistency of the reading is a good sign.I also tested it in different places. I got:Mouth 35.6Armpit 35.6Bottom: 36.5So please remember that it makes a huge difference where you put it. You might think your child's temperature is normal when it isn't.Overall it's a good thermometer but not necessarily better than many others on the market. I would rate it 4.5 stars.I was given this product free for review. I write objective reviews, not advertisements. I believe this deserves a positive recommendation but there are many instances where I have pointed out problems with products that have been enthusiastically reviewed.

Was disappointed when I received this thermometer and realized that the thermometer actually only measures to a 10th of a degree (e.g. 36.5 C) NOT a 100th of a degree (e.g. 36.58) as the Seller's promotional product photos depict. The product description seems to insinuate that it measures both C and F, however using the instructions provided with the product I could not make it switch to F from its preset C setting. While is is sold as a BBT thermometer, it is not, and is only useful for basic fever temperature measurement. Steer clear of this thermometer if you are wanting one for fertility tracking.

Not a basal body thermometer- misleading
This thermometer only provides temperature to 0.1 degree (e.g. 36.6 not 36.63) even those the pictures in the product ad shows that it provides a reading with two decimal points. Misleading. It is a regular thermometer not a basel body thermometer. Very disappointing.

Not a BBT...dont waste your money
This is not a Basal Body Thermometer, it's a standard thermometer that isn't accurate enough to track changes in your temperature for tracking purposes. NOT at all as described!
