Have you ever found yourself in the situation that you would like to switch off one of your USB devices but couldn't because it doesn't have a power switch? Lamps and Fans that you have to manually disconnect from the socket to turn them off? Or even worse crawl underneath your desk to unplug? Never mind that the unplugging causes wear & tear on the ports and plugs... Well we have the solution for you: A USB ON/OFF Switch. Simply connect our switch between a USB device and a computer to be able to turn it off when desired.

I love it!
I love it! Yes, it is a little large - could have been smaller, but it's very nicely designed, and feels very well made. It's great to be able to switch off USB devices, saving having to pull the USB out all the time, and this fits the job perfectly. Just a little switch, and all things connected to the switch faithfully turn off.Yes, as Ralph says below, it's not like there are many USB switches like this. This is almost the only one I could find. On that basis, and supply and demand, I don't bat an eyelid at the price. It's just what i wanted.

Good for oculus...
Does what it says, cuts off power and data. It has a white led indicator. I use it to switch off my oculus rift, yes, i know you can stop the OSVR service, but i like it this way.I have no problem at all using it with my rift, i also use it with an 50cm extension, so i don't have to dig behind my pc. It's size is 45mm x 22mm x 8mm,without the metal usb connector. In the hand it feels good quality, i don't know about the inside, time will tell. I find it pricey! £2.99 + free delivery would be more reasonable.

Works just great with USB 3.0 (and lower) devices, even video ones
No video review for this as it really is just an on/off switch for a USB 3.0 (and 2.0 and 1.1) device, so external hard drives or, in my case, an HDMI to USB 3.0 converter all work just great.Took a couple of days extra to get from Germany, I believe, but the quality is great and it does exactly what I want.Price is higher than I would have expected but as this is the ONLY one I could find it's all about supply & demand. So glad I found it (and via Amazon too).

Doesn't work with Dragon voice recognition software.
The switch works in every application I've tried it with except with Dragon. Switching on is no problem but when I switch off Dragon's icon goes red thus disconnecting the software but when I switch on again it stays red. The device works perfectly when used between a PC and a Kindle device up rather than return it I decided to use it for that application.

Very good & Work where others don't
I have used the short cheap leads, and for simple stuff they are fine, but for turning on / off a Roku streaming stick and a USB MIDI device, they just didn't work - either not enough power or not recognised by the computer. Though I would give this device a go, and happy to report it works in both those circumstances, so very pleased! Definitely pays to spend a bit more.

The nothing that I've receieved functions exactly as nothing does.
Can only review on the basis on what I've received. The switches I ordered are not functioning as I'd expect. I've no idea where they are. Maybe they're functioning somewhere else. Who knows.

Perfect for a usb powered DAC
Bought this for use with a Schiit modi DAC because there’s no off switch and my pc always keeps the DAC powered on even when the pc is switched off. It has had no impact on audio quality of the DAC when plugged in to the on/off switch which is perfect and does exactly what it says.Would definitely buy another if I need a power switch for any usb powered devices.

USB3 Switches Great for Unswitched Devices
Can now control non-switched USB devices. Switch is compact and when connected between a powerbank and device, is no wider than the powerbank itself{stick powerbanks} Unsure of current capacity, but it is a USB3 [blue insulator strip] device. Switches power lines only, although without power USB devices won't work, even if the data lines are unswitched.
