Essential keyboard for my iPad Air 2, great battery life, excellent value for money
Pairs easily with my iPad Air 2, lightweight, slots in well and holds my iPad securely. When closed, it provides protection for the screen. Very easy to detach and reattach as well.Solidly made and sturdy. Great keyboard action, fast to type on without being too noisy (though it’s not completely silent), it works very well. The battery lasts for ages on one charge, even leaving it on standby (the Status light usually blinks when it needs charging, or it'll stop working or suddenly start repeating certain keys e.g. Delete continuously!).Excellent value for money, especially given that my first keyboard, a Logitech, was many times the price yet a flimsy internal connecting wire broke within months making it completely useless except as a stand.Having a Caps Lock key is useful though sometimes I hit it inadvertently. There's no Delete key, as expected with Apple devices. Cursor forward then Backspace is the only way to forward-delete (although whole words or lines can be selected then deleted, see below). Ctrl d does NOT work to delete forward. The usual iPad keyboard shortcuts work e.g. press and hold Command to see what hotkeys are available for the particular app or function you’re using, but in addition (or with exceptions):- Alt is the equivalent of Option, also to move/select word by word just use Alt Right (or Left) arrow (adding Shift if selecting)- Alt 2 for the Euro sign i.e. €, Shift 3 gives £, Alt 3 gives # (there are also @ and $ symbols of course, and other standard keyboard symbols)- Cmd (or Ctrl) right or left arrow to move to end/start of line- Esc can be emulated using Cmd period i.e. Cmd .- Fn and the blue square at the top left takes you to the home screen (as does Cmd h)- Fn 4 is copy Fn 5 paste, Fn 6 (globe icon) lets you switch between different keyboards, initially emojis and English in my case, but also other languages if you have other keyboards installed on your iPad.- The other Fn number keys are obvious - brightness up/down, call up or hide the soft keyboard, rewind, play/pause, forward, mute, volume up, volume down, lock.Beware, Command w in Safari can close multiple tabs in succession even if you only tapped w once i.e. the key sometimes seems to repeat itself! There’s often a slight delay before it kicks in, when you first use it after a period of keyboard inactivity. Keys pressed during the "delay" stage don't get activated/sent at all. But once it gets going there’s no noticeable lag.I’d suggest one improvement. The light goes on briefly then turns off and remains off even when the keyboard stays on, to save battery life. Why not paint the Off/On switch’s top left surface red, so there’s a visual indicator that it’s on without having to use any lights?Niggle - if you’ve installed other keyboards, the Caps Lock key seems to switch between them (like Fn 6 already does), rather than functioning as a proper Caps Lock key. I’d like to disable this and have it just toggle Caps Lock. I ended up uninstalling other language keyboards to get back the normal Caps Lock behaviour. Fn 6 still brings up emojis after that, which is fine.Generally, I’d recommend this keyboard very highly - it's very useful, usable and very good value for money. I've recommended it to a friend who loves it too.

Fantastic value for money
I have been using this keyboard with my IPad Air 2 daily for over two months now and absolutely love it. The keys are responsive and I have no problem typing with my fairly large hands. By pressing the alt key, there are a good selection of symbols and accents if I have to type and French words. The only thing you have to get used to is remembering to touch the screen if typing for the first time [unless anyone knows another way?] After that, the Ipad knows you are using the physical keyboard and not the screen keyboard. The battery seems to last forever once it is charged up. It attaches perfectly to the Ipad and protects it. I have no reason to take the keyboard off so have had no issues with it damaging the screen - it doesn’t leave any marks on the screen, whatsoever. As long as there is power in my Ipad, it stays connected by Bluetooth and I never have to reconnect it. I thoroughly recommend this keyboard.

Fab keyboard - Turns the IPad into a laptop
This is a fantastic product - I have had a Logitech keyboard before but it was for my previous IPad and didnt quite fit the new one so I decided to buy one that fitted the iPad Air 2 specifically. This Arteck one came up well in reviews and was a great price so i bought it and am very happy with it. It fits onto the ipad in a much more secure way than the Logitech, looks great, comes ready charged and the battery life is great. The actual keys also feel very solid and easy to use but it is super light. The best thing is how it fits so snugly onto the iPad and you can vary the angle - the Logitech one was just a groove that it slotted into and it was easy inadvertently to nudge the ipad out - where as this actually grips the ipad so it cant move around or slip out. It operates as a protective case when shut and looks like a cool apple product as the silvers match perfectly - I just shove it into my bag and take it everywhere as it is so light. Brilliant product.....

Great value for money!
I bought this to replace a premium brand case that had snapped in the corner (though to be fair I had used it frequently for a couple of years) and which wasn’t holding my ipad anymore. I would have replaced my original one because I was very happy with the operation of it but, on the strength of reviews, I thought I would give this a go. It does look a bit cheap but let’s be honest it is cheap compared with most brands and, so far, I have found it to be excellent value for money. The blue tooth paired immediately, the keys are easy to use and the hinges seem to be strong enough to keep my ipad in place but not so tight that they don’t move easily. I have only had it for a few days so can’t comment on the battery life but is is a neat piece of kit and fits easily into my handbag. For the price it looks hard to beat especially as Arteck products come with a two year warranty!

BRILLIANT KEYPAD - WORKS HOW YOUD WANT IT TO - LOOKS LIKE A MACBOOK WHEN IPAD IS ATTATCHED!
A fantastic addition to an iPad, which also acts as a screen protector when closed. The keyboard is very responsive without any lag or delay - from typing to words appearing on the screen.Very easy to set up, with loads of features -(volume control -play ffwd rew- and other quick access keys including brightness. To name a few. ) The build quality is good, it doesn't feel like it's going to break after five minuets of use. The keys are a nice size, even for people with sausage fingers like me. Makes things easier if you don't like to type using the iPad screen. For the price you get a very good quality keyboard that looks & feels like it would probably cost at least twice the amount (no joke) An added bonus to this keyboard is that it looks like a MacBook with iPad connected to it! Open or closed people will think you're using a MacBook!Would I recommend this keyboard? I already have, A friend now want to get a couple for her children's iPads.I think this speaks for it's self.

Simply Wimderful! Get it NOW!
I don’t write many reviews, however, this keyboard is absolutely fantastic! It turned my IPad into my main computer. When combined with a small blue tooth mouse, I travelled for a month without my full sized laptop: wrote reports, zoomed, emailed and edited PowerPoint presentations. Then watched Netflix and listened to tunes. The keyboard connects snugly and opens with confidence. The key touch is just like my Dell. The battery lasts months without recharging and links via Bluetooth immediately. And best, it is so light—but not flimsy. Its a perfect fit. This Keyboard plus iPad is my travel laptop of the future. 10+ stars!

Nice little keyboard and stand
It seems to work fine (bought it for my dad). I connected to the iPad easily. I have not gripes about the keyboard and stand. I do wish the keyboard keys were larger. The keyboard responded well, no need to press a key twice.

Great product and outstanding customer service
I purchased my first Arteck bluetooth keyboard folio for my ipad in April 2020 and immediately fell in love with everything about it. I particularly like that I can position the screen at any angle. I also appreciate the keyboard layout which follows a traditional keyboard. A week ago, the keyboard stopped functioning and wouldn’t charge. I started to order a new one to replace the non functioning one when I noticed in reviews that several other people had had the same issue and that they contacted Arteck who reminded them that the product had a 24 month warranty and that it was replaced with no hassle. Since I was within the 24 mont period, I sent an email to Arteck Customer Service and received a reply within a couple of hours asking me a couple of questions and assuring me that they would replace the keyboard free of charge. I answered the questions and again received an immediate response with the code to use through Amazon to get my new keyboard. 36 hours later, and here I am typing away on the new keyboard. I’m a happy camper! Truly outstanding customer service on a product I really like!
