Great little stove kit!
I spent a lot of time bouncing between Amazon and backpacking website reviews trying to decide on a stove. I picked this one since everything (minus fuel) is included and it all packs down and stores together. You can even fit the fuel canister in the pot provided you buy the right size canister, though I haven’t been able to test that as my local store only carries 230g canisters. So I ordered and tried it out a couple days after delivery with near perfect weather. Despite following the included instructions the pot cozy melted to the pot, rendering both useless. I messaged the company with pictures (which I’ll also include here, pictures 3 & 4) asking if I could get a replacement pot and cozy. Customer service asked for my address and Amazon delivery rolled up my driveway less than a week later with a package for me containing a whole new stove kit.Of course I opened it up and tried it again. Success this time! No melted cozy. The weather sucked the day I tried it out. Crazy wind, rainy, cold, just yucky weather, but I didn’t have any trouble with the flame getting blown out or water taking forever to boil.My son and I set it up today (more sucky weather: misty rain, windy, and chilly) to cook a MH mac & cheese meal. From start to finish, setting up the stove to boiling water, was a total of about 4 minutes. Pretty impressive in my opinion.Very happy I settled on this stove. Between the amazing customer service and the ease of use and fast boil time I don’t think you can go wrong.

Small package, Big heat
This is the first backpacking stove I've owned. I used a pocket rocket when I was in the scouts and liked the form factor but wasn't a fan of the stability or lack there of. They were almost impossible some times to keep going with strong wind as well. I was in the market for a new stove with a day hike coming up. I settled between the X3 and the X0. I initially ordered the XO and quickly canceled. The X3 has a base that attachs to the fuel canister and its rock solid. No movement at all. It also comes with a pot adapter to allow for use of other cookware where the XO does not. After getting everything situated, the only thing left to do was light it up. The wind was howling outside so conditions were perfect to test it in less than ideal weather. The ignition system is excellent and super easy to operate, only requiring a half turn of the key and a press of a button. The key is used to adjust the fuel and heat. This flame can get quite tall so be careful not to be over top of it when igniting. My only gripe about the whole system is the pot does not cinch fully into place but is still very secure. Also be aware, while this is a "1 L pot," I would only fill up to the .8 L mark which is conveniently located inside the pot itself. The water will easily boil out if filled too high. A full pot boiled in a speedy 2.5 minutes and the coozy kept the pot exterior cool to the touch for easy manipulation if necessary. It even changes colors when at boiling temp. The handle seems a little flimsy, only held in by a few pop rivets but we'll see how well they hold over time. The burner, adapter and base stow away in the pot for super compact storage. The lid has a wire latch that holds it all neatly together. All in all, very pleased so far and would highly recommend.

I’m enjoying this.
So far so good. I have had no other camping stoves to compare it to, as I am new to camping, however, I looked at many stoves at REI, and I found this one to be quite a bit less expensive, with a really nice handle. The handle is very secure which makes all the difference when you’re using a pot. Also, it’s easy to set up, to ignite, and just strike down. I like a very large cup of tea or coffee in the morning, and I’ve used it a few times very easily. It’s fast! There was a lot of wind this morning and it was very secure. However, I will probably buy a windscreen to help out on really windy days. Hope this helps.

I like it. Easy to use. Stable unit.
The media could not be loaded. Easy to use and I am a beginner. Purchased gas at Big 5 for $12.

Excellent product - same as a Jetboil
I already have an MSR Reactor which is currently in another location. I thus wanted something cheap for my upcoming camping trip to Mount Whitney. I was hesitant to buy this brand as it was unknown to me and was looking at Jetboil. But the more I researched, the more it turned out that there was little to no difference between the Jetboil and this brand. They probably have the same supplier in China and simply put on their brand logos on the same generic stove. I ordered this and have been testing it for a few days. I can say that the build quality is great (just like Jetboil's) and the form and function is also the same - at less than half the cost of the Jetboil. These companies like Jetboil and MSR have been gouging us folks for years - they used the same Chinese suppliers as the Wild Wind - yet were able to charge so much due to lack of competition. Now with brands like Wild Wind coming in with the exact same product, there is no need to overspend. I suggest you get one of these - you will not be sorry. At the very least, you can rest assured that there is no difference between the two brands. I just need to see if this holds up over time (quality though seems great so far).Highly recommended!

Good value
The main reason I purchased this brand, was the price. Equivalent "Jet Boil" MiniMo was over $150.00. I looked at some of the other brands, but the reviews stated they were having problems getting the stoves to work on fuels other than Jet Boil. What if you are in a store that doesn't carry that particular brand? I don't plan on driving all over just to find one brand of fuel. I've tried this stove with Coleman, Primus, Snow Peak, and Jet Boil cannisters, and it works with all! It boils 2 cups of water in just over 2 minutes, but that is indoors with 60 degree tap water. Haven't had a chance to use it in the field yet, but expect it to perform as well as other brands. So far, very happy with this purchase

Good value for the price
4.5/5 overall rating since it not the lightest stove on the market. If you don't mind an extra 100gs or so vs the more costly JetBoil, this is a great product. Used it backcountry, portaging, and regular camping and it's been great. One canister lasted a good three years - it very efficient.Having it handy in the car in case you feel like making a hot beverage is quite useful; especially if stuck somewhere during the colder months.

Very nice quality stove. Simmers very good and easy to light. Only drawback is it will only nest with the very small butane canister.
