I did a lot of research on Amazon about various burner covers, and almost of them seemed to be, per customer reviews, "flimsy", "dents easily", "don't put any heavy pot on them", etc., etc. I finally found THESE burner covers which are STEEL, with enamel paint, and I was extremely happy when they arrived, to find that these are HEAVY in weight, and VERY strong, and can EASILY hold heavy pots. I haven't tried putting boiling hot pots on these burner covers yet, but will update this review if a boiling hot type pot damages the enamel coating. So far my wife and I are very impressed, and enjoy havin' the extra "counter space" on the stove to place things when the burners aren't in use.

It's excellent quality. Yes, cost more but it's worth it. My mother has had these for several years and they're very durable and stay looking good. You have to purchase them one at a time so I only purchased one to make sure it would fit my stove and look good and I love it so now I'm going to order the other three.

I purchased these because I was tired of buying the cheap ones that either had chipped paint or would turn black if you accidentally turned the burner on. These are heavy and as durable as the top of your stove. They look great and provide an extra working surface when not using the burners. Very glad I bought them and worth the few extra dollars I spent on these. No doubt they will last for a very long time.

Just what I was looking for. Only issue that I have with it is that the edge isn't finished. Little worried that it might scratch my stove top. Thick covers like this for my small elements and their edge that touches the stove top has a professional metal worked back turn to give the contact surface a nice smooth finish. See photo. BE CAREFUL WHEN ORDERING. THIS IS NOT SOLD IN A SET SO YOU WILL BE PAYING $80 FOR BURNER COVERS. I was disappointed when I received my package and it only had 1 cover in it.I guess I didn’t read the description all the way or something but never in my RIGHT MIND would I pay close to $80 for stove covers!!!The product is great and durable but Instill wouldn’t spend more than $30 for covers. I have no choice now but to get the other three which was $60!As stated before maybe I didn’t read the description very well but no one in their right mind wants to pay $20 for one cover.READ MY REVIEW AND READ CAREFULLY

These are far more expensive than I am used to for burner covers, but after buying replacements regularly, I was ready for something sturdy.They are worth every dime.The enamel is shiny and thick, I have used them as a last-minute pan cover, I can put them back on a burner I have just turned off, and I can put a still-hot pot down on top of them. When I think of the money I have wasted on at least four cheaper sets, I feel silly. This is one of my favorite kitchen purchases ever.

I was very dissapointed when my order came and it was only one cover...The listing said COVERS... Although it is very heavy, the bottom is not rimmed for easy removal from the stove eye. Porcelain coated; perfect white & very clean lines/ finished edges. It cleans up my ancient but beloved GE electric stove top. Impossible to find in stores.
