Fellow UB fans: The thumbprint reader issue CAN be resolved - I was able to use my fingernail to carefully scrape off the thumbprint sticker circle from the INNER side of the cover. Do this against a smooth, hard surface, like a clean countertop. I immediately wiped the sticky residue with hand sanitizer and a soft shirt for a couple minutes (I did all of this at the phone store when activating, otherwise I would have used rubbing alcohol). The phone tech wiped it over with a lens cloth, and it looks clean, like the sticker was never there!Next, I went back into Settings > Security > Face & Fingerprint Unlock to re-scan my thumb print. The thumb reader is now working great!This is my third UB case, and seems to be as well made as the others, if not better. While I have only had this model for a couple days, I had my prior UB case on my older Pixel for 3.5 years. It sustained many drops, and that phone is still in excellent condition, so I am confident that this will protect my Pixel 7 just as well! (Also, the lock button and charging cover on the UB case for my Pixel 3 lasted for three years before they finally broke off, but I kept using the case with the lock button taped on. So again I expect long-lasting durability of the material for this Pixel 7 case.)The little kick stand on the case is a nice bonus for setting it up horizontally on a table. I'm not able to stand it up vertically with the built-in stand for this model, though. (I have a UB case for my iPad Pro as well, and the stand on that one has held up with regular use for about nine months so far. I expect that this one will also be of similar durability.)I love that these cases are still fairly sleek for a rugged phone case. While the case is thick, and the Pixel 7 is wider than Pixel 3, I can still hold it one-handed with petite hands. However, using two hands is much more comfortable most of the time with this larger phone size and case. Also, the value for the money is great!Whether you are new to Unicorn Beetle cases or looking into it for the first time, I highly recommend this case for your Google Pixel 7!

It performs pretty well. I got one for a new phone last year and after several drops, slides, and bangs against objects the phone looks as new as the day I got it. The case has also held up well, the materials are certainly durable enough. The only problem is the stand: it's a bit flimsy and will eventually break with regular use. Still, it's good enough for me to buy a second one today.

This is the fourth case for us, and we continue to consider it the best deal for strong protection. Case is a little bulky, but it is easy to grip and hold. Over time, the built-in screen protector do ines show wear, particularly following outside work usage. It is easy to remove after warming in water or hot air, but the remaining frame does not fit over or around many glass screen protectors and requires careful trimming. It would be nice if the company provided a second frame to use with glass screen protectors rather than that ugly, bulky clamp-on holder which we have never used. One other challenge has been dust infiltration under the screen protector, requiring infrequent disassembly and cleaning. Overall, still the best deal for strong protection!

This is a good medium of the road case. It's not too bulky but does offer significant drop protection. The two components are pretty easy to separate and put back, there's also no annoying snap tabs. The kickstand is flush with the case when you're not using it, works fine, but is a pretty flimsy plastic so you have to be careful with it. Overall, it's a good case for the money.

I've had several cases just like this. I try a new brand each time because the common flaw in all of these is the kickstand design. The detentes that hold the stand in place are way too tight and the tabs are tiny and, with any use at all, they break immediately. This seems to be universal to this type of design and this brand is no different. Soon the second tiny little pin will break and the kickstand will flop around until I remove it entirely.Apart from that major disappointment, the case itself is fine. It protects the phone as I would expect, it's easy to install and use. My charging cables work (which is sometimes a problem) and the external buttons are well aligned to operate the buttons on the phone. Other than the poorly implemented kickstand, I'm perfectly happy with this case.

This is my second case from unicorn beetle. Amazing quality for the price paid and anytime I buy a new phone I will get the corresponding case. I never have to worry if I drop my phone because I know this case will absorb the impact and the screen will be unharmed.
