The GPS on this watch is very bad. My son is at school and it shows him in an entirely other city. He is 7 so I know he's not leaving school during the day. The GPS is fairly useless. Also, you can tell the watch to send you GPS updates every 5-30 minutes, but it drains the battery so quickly, it's not worth it. I installed the SIM card I was given (included in the purchase). It's through Ting. If my son hits the SOS button, it takes approximately 1 minute to call me. We tested the phone a few times on the first day, and we are at $12 for the month already. I have called Verizon to see about getting a SIM card for their 2G network - hoping that maybe they will have better reception/coverage than Ting (which I have never heard of). I would not purchase this watch again, and I will return it if the Verizon card does not work better. I send messages to my child but they do not show up for hours. Also, I charged the phone all night, but the battery is still dead this morning. I can't figure out if it's the charging connection (which is very sensitive/delicate) or if it's because the watch beeped all night to alert my son there were messages from me (The messages I sent my son did not arrive until sometime at night). Overall, not worth the $125 price tag. I'd bet the cheaper watches work just as well. My friend has the gizmopal 2, and says it works great. They are on a verizon network. I'm not sure if it's the awful ting network or the watch, but I'm going to try to the verizon sim and see what happens. Also, setting up the watch is very difficult, and I consider myself to be very good at these things. Directions are minimal. The watch appears to be made in a different country, as even the English set up manual has odd phrases and use of words. Very disappointing experience overall. I gave this product 2 stars instead of 1 because 50% of the time my son could get through to me.

Description of product is inaccurate. Location takes over 45 seconds to locate. Child Detector if taken of dows not work. Proximity alarm is a joke. Seller dosnt back product.

Never has service. Activated with t-mobile. But will not work properly. Functions don’t work like they are suppose to. Sad excuse for a gps watch

I purchased the Waffle version from this company. I bought TWO of them as part of a deal because producers of the other watches we had (Tinitell, which worked fine), went out of business. Bad decision on my part. Both watches worked briefly, but then not at all. A translate function (which was really cool) stopped working. And, concurrently, calls could not be made in either direction. These are phone/watches for (perhaps overly-) concerned parents. The devices need to be RELIABLE. I tried to work with the company, even sent the watches back to them. They did NOTHING, and said the watches worked fine. Of course when they sent them back, EXACT same problems. Watches have gone right into the trash. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM POMOHOUSE.

O liked that I can watch my kids so they can be safe but I love it so much!
