great value
Great little buckles. Great value considering most retail stores want $2 to $4 for each buckle. Haven't had any problems with them breaking.

They work
I had no issues with the buckles. Would have liked to have a bigger variety of colors available in 1", and a slide to hold the strap ends also, but these worked just fine.

Made a new buckle for my daughters high chair
We received an Ikea high chair that had no safety strap to keep my daughter seated. This was not a big problem for a few months, but once she learned to climb up, we bought some webbing and these buckles to make our own strap.

Not difficult to open
These buckles are your typical plastic buckles you would find on lanyards that have a separate section, that allows you to release your badge without taking off the lanyard. We are making lanyards for our upcoming cruise. It’s handy to have one of these break away buckles so you don’t have to hand your entire lanyard to the bar tender or waiter. It’s easy to open and doesn’t feel like it will fall apart. When you release the buckle, the other side tends to pop out and fly across the room if you have nothing attached to it. I can speak from experience. :) So you should not have any issues with it releasing when you need it to. I would buy again if I had a need for them in the future. If I run into any problems using them on my next cruise, I will update the review.

Medium to light duty only.
They are functional but more for light duty. The first one I used snapped when I pulled it to test durability. Would work for lashing sraps for light gear. I would not trust them for heavy items or sinching down a sleeping bag.
