Four colors, they work with a variety of writing tools (gel pen, standard ballpoint, sharpie, pencil), the colors are bright so easy to find on your page, you'll be able to see whatever is behind the notes clearly through the plastic. I'm very impressed. I'll probably use these with some much smaller tabs, so it's easier to find the pages I'm making notations with these on. Standard post-it size.

My 8-year-old son's teachers have been encouraging him to take notes on sticky notes while reading since first grade. I thought these looked great for that purpose, because they wouldn't cover up the pages. You can stick the notes over the text and see through the paper, so what they are referring to is clearer. And, you can highlight without permanent color, although that might be impractical if you need to do a lot of highlighting throughout a book.These transparent notes are really cool. They seem a bit slick and plasticky like markers may smear, but I didn't have any issues with that. I was able to write on them easily with pencil, pen, colored pencils, highlighters, regular markers and Sharpies. Although my son usually uses pencil for this purpose, Sharpies, highlighters and bright colored pencils seemed to work best. The only thing that is a bit of an issue is that if you are writing on a page with a darker background, darker colored writing tools don't show up well. The visibilty is best over plain white.Twelve pads are included. I think each pad could have been bigger with less pads overall. That might make them easier to store.Overall, I like this product and think it is very innovative. It will work well for many note writing tasks.

My standard #2 pencil lead was smudged off it quite easily. The pictures in the product view also seems to be very misleading, While the product does come with 12 note pads, they are very small compared to the average size of a normal post it note, it also doesn’t come in a box, its more of a cardboard wrap. It works great for annotating books, but it’s too visible to put on some other materials. The white note can be clearly seen on many things besides paper. Other than that though, the product works as advertised for the most part, and writing with marker or highlighter is a breeze as long as your not messy like me.

The media could not be loaded. AmaIng product! i was surprised to see that gel ink works on these. sure you got to give it time to dry but i’ve tried transparent sticky notes from other brands and NONE of them could handle gel ink so that was surprising.Gel ink isn’t my go to writing material though so i was more concerned with how these handled pencil and crayon- i would say these are the best to use for writing on this product. the crayon and pencil erase cleanly, as pictured. unfortunately, highlighters smear on this texture. i use crayons as highlighters which works great (hint: sharpen the crayola twistable crayon with a normal pencil sharpener for precise highlights). permanent inks need about 1-2 seconds to dry at max and work great. also a quick note: they peel off cleanly!i highly recommend these if you’re looking for annotating and note taking things. when i first found transparent sticky notes, i didn’t know this company made them so i’ll definitely be sharing this product with way too many people.pictures attached: i used a 0.38 mm sharpie s-gel pen, ultra thin sharpie, fine sharpie marker, sharpie pen, dixon ticonderoga pencil, 0.7mm mechanical pencil graphite, crayola twistable crayon, and a zebra mid liner. i attached the sticky notes to the cardboard packaging it came in.video attached: i peel a sticky note off of a borrowed book (Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zoe’s Neale Hurston).
