Reduction connections needed from inch to half inch.
Water flows fine, but I had to buy the reduction from inch to half inch connections to screw in to either side of the sump. It would be nice if the producer provided those as the ones I bought at the hardware store have a mini leak even when I wrapped the threads with teflon tape. This probably has something to do with the threads not being equal between one factory and another. Hopefully, I won't have to get back under the sink and undo ALL the connections due to this.

Happy to say that the logistics of this system are ...
I'm new to the LifeSource system and I have to say that it's a life changer. Everyplace in my home I get pure water which means I shower, drink, wash do everything with the purest water possible. This is important to me as I know our skin absorbs EVERYTHING that touches it, and LifeSource prevents all those chemicals from getting into my system. Happy to say that the logistics of this system are right on. Ordering the filters was easy. Delivery was fast. Installation was a snap. I wish I had gotten the LifeSource system years ago. But at least now I'm in it and it couldn't be easier or better to maintain. PS Box that arrived was pretty big. But inside LifeSource had already wrapped the filters in a eco-friendly sized box. Don't know why Amazon thinks it's necessary to re-box. I have contacted Amazon to let them know it's unnecessary.

Essential for filtering rainwater
I am a rainwater contractor and I use these often. They are wonderful! They keep particles from filling your more expensive filters that follow these sediment filters. This will make them pay for themselves over time.

Need them for well water
NEEDED THEM FOR MY WELL WATER AND THEY DO WORK VERY WELL, REMOVES ALL SEDEMENT!
