This is a hard fragile material. Not a flexible background. Mine was shattered in shipping.

What a great piece to help pull the whole tank together. It's pricey but worth it and it is the center piece of the tank after all so why not make it count. I'm always getting compliments on the rock wall on how beautiful it is. It's easy enough to cut and trim if need be like I had too with a hacksaw.

The back wall of my shrimp tank. They can hang all over it, making it look very realistic. It is interactive with anyone in the aquarium.

Looks great and natural inside the tank. Fits perfectly on a 29g tank. Easy to install.

When I added the rock background the tank looks Great!I worked around that it was too short , my tank is 36 inches, I had a large planted driftwood that covered the edge. I put the heater and the filter behind the background. There is a gap between the background and glass. I can follow fish if they swim into the gap by walking walking around the tank. The fish can easily return to front of the tank.
