Use this for a German Shepherd dogs, since he been on it, it seems to be helping his hips and joints. Highly recommend for dogs with those concerns as long as your dog has no pre-existing medical situations that this may aggravate. Had no reactions from my dogs and it seems to work. Lots of uses for this. Squeeze a bit on your dogs food.

I have been suffering from lower back pain on and off now for about 8 years. I manage to keep the pain under control by performing various stretches for my back on a daily basis and icing my lower as needed. A huge factor which I'm sure contributes to my back pain is the extra weight I carry in my stomach area. So, because of this, I recently started exercising (fast walking with intervals of running) in order to take off some of this weight. I first started with walking a few miles a day and then would add intervals of running. I noticed that on days that I would add the run to my workout, my lower back area would become very sore and tight which would then force me to ice my back and pop two Motrin in order to relieve some of the painI've recently read of the benefits of Turmeric more specifically Curcumin on how it reduces inflammation and stiffness in the body and thought to give Pranjali Turmeric Paste a try. Once I received the paste I started taking it immediately every night about a teaspoon full right from the pouch. At first, I didn't feel any different but after about a week of taking the paste, I noticed that the stiffness and soreness I would normally feel after my workouts was getting less and less to the point where icing by back and Motrin were no longer necessary!Since my initial purchase of Pranjali Turmeric Paste I have ordered an additional three more pouches and I have made taking this paste as part of my daily routine!!

Great product

My dog had not climbed the steps for months and after 2 weeks of taking this he was going up the stairs again. I then sent one to my mom, she thought it helped a little. Her arthritis is pretty far gone though. It can't hurt to try it and see if it works for you.I'm updating my review from 5 stars to 1 star. I have ordered this several times but my last shipment of this item arrived stained with yellow all over the pouch. The pouch seemed to be sealed so I figured it would be ok. When I opened it the paste was runny but had hard bits in it causing only liquid to come out. I came on the see if I could exchange it just a few days after I received it but it said no refund. I don't think I will purchase this again.

I am not sure about the product yet but packaging is killing me. It was stained when we got it and let stains oun our counter, but couldn't find a leak so figured it was from during packaging. Once opened I refrigerated, per instructions, and the it coagulated and wouldn't come out nozzle. Squoze hard and it went everywhere and stained my wall (its a paticle board type material and not tile).

I use this product (Golden Paste) for my older dogs. I was making the paste myself with all the individual ingredients,.. but actually find this is about as cost effective and much more convenient. It is also approved by Dr. Doug English who runs the site, Tumeric Life, and has been mentioned on his facebook page for tumeric users.

I have been taking this twice a day for a few months and totally notice a difference. I have bad arthritis in my knees and have lower back pain. It definately lessens the pain. I was out of the tumeric for a couple weeks and my knees started to hurt again- I don't think I realized how much the turmeric was actually working. Now I won't be without it!

First of all, the packaging sucks! It’s so difficult to squeeze a small container shaped like that, especially if the thick paste is supposed to come out of a small hole in the top. I can’t imagine that a person with arthritic hands would have an easy time. Second, the product seems to develop hard pieces that get trapped in the opening. The longer it sits in my fridge, the more hard pieces develop.Third, my dog and myself take this. We will NEVER finish it by expiration date. So, money that I don’t have down the drain. Never again!
