I never gave any thought to owning a microphone like this before. However, I believe this will become mine and not used as a gift.The microphone measures approximately nine and a half inches tall and approximately 10 inches in diameter. Now when I say it is 10 inches in diameter, that is only the circumference of the widest section which is the control square.You have the treble, volume, music, echo, bass, slide controls. The volume is controlling your input into the microphone. The music slide is controlling whatever the music is your playing. You also have the option of reverse control and fast forward control.You have three options of using this. You can connect to a Bluetooth device and music will then come out of the speakers, which are on each side of the control square.You can use a MicroSD card, which does not come with the unit, to play music.Finally, you can connect to a device using the audio cable, which does come with the unit.This unit comes with the microphone, audio cable, and an USB cable.

The media could not be loaded.  i bought this mic and once it came i really rushed to try it and there you go! i have video and im lovin it! No more boredom! super happy with my purchased!😍 since i really love to sing this is one of my fave hobby 😊 singing is my first love... first love never dies LOL!

Update 2: As we wait for microphone replacement number 1, microphone number 2 has now stopped working. This microphone was opened Christmas day, used until December 28th and then we attempted to charge. It lights up when charging but after we unplug and try to turn it on it will not turn on. I'm very disappointed since this product has such good reviews. Now on to contact Yemenren to see about a replacement for this one... I've put the stars at 4 since their customer service has so far been stellar.UPDATE: Yemenren contacted us within a few hours and offered to send a replacement right away for the 1 defective microphone. So I would say that is some of the best customer service I have ever experienced!Had to leave 2 stars....we ordered 2 of these for our kids for Christmas. It's a great microphone, but one of the microphones, once initial battery charge ran down, will not charge or turn on. There is no way to ask for a replacement/exchange. So while one of the kids microphones works great, the other kid can't even use theirs. If both worked I would have given 5 stars, or if there was a way to send it back and request a new one I would have given more stars. I'd appreciate the seller contacting me so I can send it back and get a working microphone.

So much fun! My daughter didn't put it down for 3 days! The sound quality is great (I'm no audiophile...but, I'm impressed). The only negative is the toggles....not super effective. There is a volume for the music and your voice, but it goes from LOUD to nonexistent. We used a micro SD card. It is better if you use the cord and play music from a phone/ipod, then you can use the device to control volume.

The first microphone sent to me only lasted 1 month then it stopped charging. The second one they sent to replace has this constant loud buzzing sound, so loud that you cannot even hear yourself sing or hear the music. It was great at first.

This microphone is a lot of fun. I love it and so does my 4 year old granddaughter. It is easy for her to use and hold. It is well made and easy to set up to pair with Bluetooth on my ipad. We use it with karaoke on YouTube.

The man's name of the microphone should pay me for it if he wants to use it now that I own it. I prefer microphone for gender specific female voice not that of a man's. That's weird. Whoever the man's name of the microphone should pay me to use me. My microphone doesn't just have to be used for family and kareokee events there are some people who also like to read."
