Update - I’ve used this for a little over a month. I wasn’t sure it was doing much but I opened it and rubbed quite a bit of dust that was collected on the top of the HEPA filter. I forgot that it is an Ionizer also. I still have not figured out how to turn that feature off. I read the reviews on it and the answers from SkySun in the question section about turning it off but I don’t have a clue what they meant by their comments on it other than its off when the unit is off. I am leaving the 5 stars because it works great for me. I keep it right next to my bed. I turn it back on when I wake up at night which is at least twice. I am allergic to cats and have two of them that pretty much hang out in my bedroom. There is a noticeable difference in my allergies at night when I have this on. Two features they could improve on is an timer or option to leave purifier on longer than two hours (8 - 10 would be nice!) and an easy way to turn off the “optional” ionizer.First - One downfall that I see with this product is that it shuts off after two hours no matter what mode it is in. I would like it to stay on all night as I use it in my bedroom and have two cats that I happen to be allergic too. Ok now thats out of the way, I am giving it 5 stars instead of 4 because I do love it. In auto mode the fan does change speeds when it needs too. In low the fan is quiet enough that I have no problem sleeping with it on. Matter of face, I generally use it in auto and every time I wake up click it back on which is why an 8 hour option or never shut off option would be nice. If it had this I'd buy several! Plus if it did bigger areas I'd buy more. It works really well and I find that my allergies aren't as bad at night anymore. I did have trouble getting the top off at first. You have to look to see the arrows (triangles) in the corners and you do have to push fairly hard and listen for the click. Same when closing it. There are 4 filters around the outer edge and one in the center. That's all I remember anyway. LOL. So overall this is a great product and I really love it.

This is a amazing compact size air purifer, perfect for a smoker like me with bad allergies. It did really help clear the bad smell and eliminate odors in the car after I put that in there.

This was horrible. Was very loud and didn’t really seem to work or not efficiently. Came without directions so I had to google and figure it out on my own. Waste of money, not worth it.

I would not recommend. I should have read more of the questions before purchasing, which would have revealed that the "open lid" process is not easy. It does not POP open. Had to pry open. And don't think one side has closed completely. It was repacked in it's box to return - but tonight gave it one more try to open the lid (I had purchased replacement filters for future, and wanted to check they were correct ones/repacked it last night after couldn't open lid).The directions say green and yellow lights to tell the mode - lights are green only but can tell by sound what fan speed is. So I decided to keep it as to much hassle to deal with return....when I use replacement filters, and those are done, the unit will probably be tossed. I have a larger air purifier, and thought this unit was attractive, small enough, blended in with desk, and would work well to manage dust etc near computer. Depending on filter life - this unit may not make it til spring.

I don't think that it really processes that much air unless you have it on full power, which is very noisy. It shuts off after a while automatically, and there is no way to change this.

Only runs for 2 hours at a time and you have to push the button every time. Otherwise it seems to do a good job in a small bedroom we use it in.

Live in an older home with hardwood floors (read:dust) and bought 2 units. Two weeks in and they are working as described and making a noticeable difference.

I didn't receive the adapter in the box.
