Gnat Killaaa
BUY THIS IF YOU GET LIL GNATS IN YOUR PLACE.My goodness, I had an outdoor plant that I brought inside bc the rain came out of nowhere. Little did I know, my lil guy had flies making homes in the dirt. Kept wondering how/why they were getting in, until I saw those mofos go in/out of the dirt. I thought I was going insane.Bought this item on a WHIM.This simple, yellow sticky thing had caught every single gnat.It took a couple weeks, had to replace every few days (not bc it was full, but bc I know gnats had stopped going on them). Plus this came with so many, had them on each corner of my plant's pot.The butterfly one surprisingly worked better than the thicker one.Cannot recommend this enough!

Effective.
Plant gnats are the worst. These aren't super aethetically pleasing- but do the job. Leave in place for several weeks to make sure you capture current gnats and those eggs once they hatch. I would recommend plant soap in addition to speed up the process.

I’ll continue using forever!
They work perfectly! They were covered the next morning after I first put them in a handful of plants in the area with the problem. I’d give them 5 stars if they were a little easier to get into the plant. It’s difficult to pull the paper off the sticky part after sticking it in the soil, but if I take it off first, leaves get stuck to it, I can’t get it into the soil much easier. Maybe tabs on the paper that come from the side would make it easier? Just a thought! Even with that, still love these and will continue using them! It’s worth the initial annoyance.

They work
The fruit fly traps are effective at catching gnats and reducing their numbers temporarily. However, they don't address the root cause of the infestation, such as moisture, decaying organic matter, or overwatered plants. They're a helpful short-term solution, but long-term results require tackling the underlying issue.

Absolutely amazing!
I don’t write a lot of reviews, but I had to share how crazy amazing these traps have been! These traps have been in place for under 24 hours. My son is growing spicy peppers inside the house and the gnats suddenly became a big issue. I’ve been blown away by how many gnats there are and how well these traps have worked. I very highly recommend these!

These are great!
These little gnat/fly traps really work! I put some apple cider vinegar in a small bottle, stuck one of these traps in the top. I placed one in each bathroom, the kitchen, and the sunroom and caught a bunch. Vanilla extract works, too.

Great Help but Not a Fix
These certainly work. I noticed fungus gnats in some of my plants after using a certain kind of potting soil. They seem to ravage roses, while other plants seem to handle their existence much better. But these traps caught the littlest of gnats, there's no smell. However, this will not "cure" the issue all together. I've been using these for over a month now and still have gnats, though it seems to keep them relatively under control. I've tried repotting, moving plants, misting instead of watering. These will certainly help, but will not fix.
