Walnut Table ◈ This desk was a long time in the making. The idea came into my head about an year ago. I wanted a huge walnut top and a more robust version of our hairpin legs. I've made the legs and kept looking for the tree. I almost had forgotten about it when I came across some very beautiful and very substantial black walnut slabs from a huge tree. I got a few and started working. The result is a really heavy duty desk which looks elegant and light. The tree is gorgeous, the live edge is really vivid and the legs are the perfect match I hoped for. ◈ The desks are finished with bio oils and hand-rubbed beeswax to a smooth and durable finish. The steel legs are welded right here in our shop. They also feature metal inserts at the joints which greatly improves durability and practicality. The legs can be dyed in any shade or left raw and clear coat protected. ◈ Each tree is different, so your piece of furniture will have just the right amount of unique characteristics. We made sure the construction is stable, solid and elegant, while the surface has satin-touch finish.
