Truly underated cult classic!
I loved this game the 1st time on the Xbox 360 and was keen to pick up this updated version when I came back to Xbox. Still as good as I remember. Simplistic? Yes! But plenty to do and a cult classic!

Perfecto
Excelente juego, el tiempo de entrega fue menor al indicado por Amazon y la estética en la que fue envuelto para que no sufriera desperfectos fue perfecto. Seguiré comprando videojuegos en Amazon

One of the Few Great Next-Gen Games to Date!
Let me start this review by saying that I'm a huge fan of the Mad Max movies. This includes the original Mad Max, the Road Warrior, (not so much Thunderdome) and the new Fury Road. So, for a game I'd normally probably give 4/5 stars, I'm driven to give it the full 5 stars based on my love for the series. Mad Max is a game based in a post-apocalyptic open world. It's a mix of hand to hand and vehicular combat. The hand to hand combat loosely resembles that of the Batman Arkham games, prompting you when to block and counter and utilizing various finishers that you can acquire through upgrading. However, the hand to hand combat is not nearly as polished as it is in the Batman games. You can be easily overpowered by large numbers of foes if you're not careful. Plenty of times I found myself being frustrated because I was certain I'd blocked or countered in time, but still got hit. Although Max carries a sawed-off shotgun, this is NOT a shooter. You will spend most of the time fist fighting or battling in your vehicle. Although the game is sandbox, the game encourages you to complete as many as the side missions as possible. Completing side missions provide the experience points necessary to upgrade both Max's abilities as well as your car. Upgrading early is essential unless you want to be brutally punished by much stronger foes later in the game. Upgrading is fun, particularly your car. You can customize your own vehicle by choosing an initial body style and upgrading it as you go. You can also find and collect pre-built vehicles scattered throughout the game. The game features some pretty interesting characters - pretty much what you'd expect from a Mad Max game. The voice work is well done and the game looks great. Full daytime to nighttime progression happens as well as the occasional sandstorm - of which you'd better take shelter! Now, as much as I love the game, there are certainly a couple of cons. First, some side missions can get repetitive. There are basically 4 or 5 different "types" of side missions - a lot of "go there, blow this up" type of stuff. For me, I find them fun regardless, so this being a "con" is pretty subjective. However, this a MAJOR gripe I have, and that's the glitches. Some glitches are annoying, while others are infuriating. For example, while taking shelter during a sandstorm, metal objects were able to somehow penetrate the metal shelter I was in, damaging Max. Also while in shelter, the storm seemed to swirl Max around in the shelter, contorting his body in odd ways. Those are the types of mildly annoying glitches. The one glitch that really bothered me was the autosave glitch. The game typically autosaves after every minor action, such as picking up new loot. However, I've found that, if you continue were you left off by signing into XBOX One, the autosave feature stops working. I realized this after losing about 4 hours of game play on 2 separate occasions. Not cool. Hopefully, there is a patch released soon that will fix this issue. The controls are also something that takes some getting used to. They are not mapped well in my opinion, particularly as it relates to hand to hand combat. The driving controls are just fine, but on foot is a different story.Glitches aside, this is a fantastic game. I certainly recommend picking it up.PROS - Great visuals - Good voice acting - Good upgrade system - Lots of missions/content - Good story - Decent combat systemCONS - Poorly mapped controls (on foot) - Glitchy5/5 Fanboy score; 4/5 realist score.
