Used this little remote to operate the Kenwood BT receiver hidden in my Mustang's glove box.Remote paired to iPhone + iPhone paired to receiver = Remote operates the hidden receiver.It works well to adjust basic functions: Volume up and down, Mute, Pause, Choose next track etc. all with the glove box door CLOSED.An IR remote would not work in this situation.The remote paired quickly to the phone with no issues. Small size allows it to be tucked away discreetly. I would certainly recommend it to anyone attempting a similar set up in a classic car.

Works as expected with the music app and also works with my podcast app. The forward/ back buttons go forward/ back 15 seconds because that’s what I set in the app. (Overcast) pause and volume work normally. Super easy to connect.

Updated Review (May 2024)Unfortunately the controller has died, so I have to take off a star. Other than that it worked great while it did. If you have a special needs kid that goes insane with the volume, this is a good solution. Androids are more customizable, but with Apple you have to look for solutions like this.Original Review (Jan 2024)We have a special needs toddler that LOVES to turn the volume all the way up. Apple stupidly removed the max volume limiter feature, so now there’s no way to limit the volume. We blocked the speakers, but that caused the iPad to overheat…THIS is a lifesaver!!! Now when he turns up the iPad all the way up, we don’t have to constantly get up to turn it down, or endure the pain. Just a simple press of a button and we can turn it down from wherever we’re at, and not have to stop what we’re doing. Many thanks!!! 🙏🙏🙏Also it was super quick & easy to pair 👌

Buyer beware! Does not work for swiping/scrolling. Does not work for apps like TikTok, Reels or Shorts. Does work to play the next random/previous long format video on youtube. Volume home screen camera shutter are functional. It does not function for anything once on home screen. In my opinion this is a barely functional device.

This is the most reliable, smartphone, audio controller ever made. I have used the rings and other devices to control my music while out on a walk. This controller is absolutely the best. This controller has functions for volume up, volume down, pause, next track, previous track. The controller is very accurate. When you push a button on this device, it responds perfectly. One of the better parts of this device is the fact that it uses a coin battery. I use this controller with a larger wrist lanyard, and it fits very comfortably in my hand.

This tiny remote control works well BUT the instructions are only a few sentences long and provide very little detail. There is no company name on the box or in the instructions, and no phone number or email address for customer support. There isn't even a model number. The instructions do not explain whether you need to leave the power slide button on the side of the remote On or Off. It's a very flimsy, loose slide type button, and it will break if you toggle it on and off daily. I am wondering if leaving the button in the On position all the time drains the battery? The instructions are no help. I asked the Amazon seller, but she is based in a foreign country, does not understand English, and answered a different question with a response that made no sense. A replacement battery will cost almost as much as the remote control.

I bought this so I could control amazon music on my s23+. I'm always outside doing something and don't want to carry around my phone or Bluetooth speaker. This remote allows me to be hands free (i put the remote on a lanyard and hang it around my neck). The range has been good, the buttons are pretty responsive and it has all the features I wanted.

I bought this on September 4, 2024 and it worked great for a while. Four months later, it will no longer pair with my device.I noticed it had stopped working, so I turned it off and unpaired it. When I went to re-pair it I get the message that the pairing was unsuccessful. I have tried pairing it with multiple devices, but I get the same message.
