By the time you get used to your phones alarm sounds and it makes you sleepy instead of waking you up. This was perfect to break that chain. The noise level is high that you can't ignore it and also looks nice on bed side table. The size is also just perfect and with easy reach light, you can read the time even at dark. Simple to use. Worth the money.

Not like the old fashioned ones. It’s loud IF you’ve never used those. It is kind of cute. Works fine and comes with a battery. I’ll keep it. It’s cheap and nothing to complain about. But if you were looking for one like they use to make. This isn’t it. Works and looks as expected though, especially for the price. Maybe it deserves 5 stars but it’s not as loud as I wanted since I was hoping for the older style spund. Also the old ones were gold. That would be a nice addition for this company.

The media could not be loaded. This product worked great until about a week ago and now it doesn’t wanna keep time…run the battery down fast, I have to change it twice in a week and a half because it doesn’t wanna keep up… the ringer doesn’t wanna play anymore and it’s made me late for work several times. Highly disappointed and DO NOT RECOMMEND
