High quality, good value
This finishing tape works great. I find if you cut the proper length before wrapping, you have a good chance of it not sticking to itself! When it sticks to itself, that’s it, it doesn’t let go, but that is what you want when you wrap it perfectly. Good patience’s and focus results in a nice job!

Bar Tape or Just Finishing Tape?
This bar tape/finishing tape is awesome. I believe it truly is a finishing tape for drop bars, a task usually done with electrical tape. However, as alluded to by other reviews you can absolutely wrap the entire bar with it like traditional bar tape. It is a little tricky to apply. So if it’s your first time doing bar tape, you might want to practice a bit first. This tape sticks to itself aggressively, in a good way. You can reposition it, but you don’t have much time. It sets up fast. Once applied, it has a nice little tacky feel. An added confidence for wet wether. It does not creep or leave the dreaded electrical tape black sticky slime.

This Stuff Sticks to Itself Like Nobody's Business!
I used this tape to build up the diameter of my bicycle handlebar for an accessory that was too loose and would stay in position. This tape is not that sticky to you hands or fingers but man does it stick to itself. In fact if it touches itself you will not be able to unstick it without it tearing so be careful when wrapping it. I had to tear it off and throw away the first two attempts and was more careful with the 3rd attempt. It does the job!

Not a fan of this stuff...
First of all I am OCD about my bike. I have been riding for over 40 years and have wrapped handlebars on various bikes about a zillion times. I get bored with my equipment and a cheap quick change is to install new bar tape. The finishing tape supplied with bar tape basically sucks, so like everyone else I substitute it with electrical tape, Which works fine in most cases. I ordered some of this silicone self fusing tape based on positive reviews and ended up not being that fond of it. For one, it's a tad too wide. Secondly, it has a clear plastic backing that pulls off as you are applying it and it's kind of tricky. It adheres to itself (as described). You can't pull too tight or it will wrinkle. If you install it directly to the handlebar tape it will tear the handlebar tape if you try to remove it. I tried to lay a light layer of electrical tape first, then the self fusing tape over it. I didn't like the way it looked. Pulling it off was tricky (did I use that word before?) as it self adheres and it pulls off in a big loop and you can pull until it tears, or cut it with scissors. After messing around with for about a half an hour-45 minutes, I gave up. I just went back to using electrical tape. However for taping cable to your handlebars this stuff will probably work great. I'm not slamming this stuff, it just did not work for me.Post edited 6/21/21...old dogs can learn new tricks. Stupid old man applied this stuff again after so much problems the first time. It went on nice and easy. Looks nice and shiny, holds handlebar tape down. No problems. Disregard about what the man behind the curtain said the first time....

Does a good job
I didn’t use this a a bike handle, but on my cane. It sticks readily so make sure you put it where you want it because you don’t get a second .

not exactly 10 feet, 3 meters
measurement on package says .5 mm x 25mm x 3m, 3 m is a bit less than the 10 feet (9.84252 m) it says in webpage description. Won't make a big difference to me for what I plan to use it for but it might to some.
