MOTU Masters Of The Universe Classics Catra Action Figure

The seller was prompt with the delivery... The issue with this figure is quality control. ..The paint application was terrible, red splatter on cape, eyebrow paint scuffed, scuffs on the gauntlets, the red mask was not even at the points, one side high than the other... Also shading on the skin looked like bad self tanning... Also silver paint and flecks everywhere including the left eye... This figure has had the worst execution of the other MOTUC figures I have purchased. .. I would return it if I had not gotten such a good deal on it... As a completionist I am glad to have her but I will need to fix the paint apps my self... When it comes to buying the Catra figure buyer beware, it may be a cap shoot. ..

I didn't follow She-Ra much as a kid of the late 70s and early 80s. But, I do remember her as she had the distinct power of transforming into a panther. The figure produced for her for the MOTUC line is excellent, the face is angular and cruel, which suits the personality of the character from the old shows and comics. A worthwhile purchase for any MOTUC collector.

An array of weapons, nice color on the dress kind of a dusty Rose color. Not to mention the face sculpt, like my girl friend face when she mad at me lol. I sent a picture to her side by side next to Catra, good laughs

Not only is this figure amazing, but she comes with 2 different cat masks, a fantastic shield, very cool sword, but my FAVORITE accessory is the comb-whip. Words can't describe how neat this version of Catra is!!! *meow*

Catra is another great figure in the Masters of the Universe Classics line. This new version, released in May 2011, looks just like she stepped out of the Filmation cartoon, although there are a few nods towards the vintage doll as well. For instance, Catra comes with two interchangeable masks, one matching the cartoon and one matching the vintage doll, and a shield much like the one with the vintage toy.The odd comb/whip thing is also clearly a nod to the combs the original PoP dolls came with. It's kind of neat, but since the new figures have sculpted hair instead of rooted hair, I personally think it is a bit of an odd design choice. They also gave her a new sword with a cat-motif (as I recall, the old sword was a bit plain.) She comes with bunches of accessories!MOTUC Catra has many more points of articulation that the vintage doll did. Unfortunately, like many of the other MOTUC ladies with long hair, her sculpted ponytail inhibits her head movement a bit. Her waist swivel is under her dress/skirt, so it is also a bit limited, but you can still get some nice poses.Her face sculpt has a beautiful/evil look to it, with high cheekbones, angular brows, and green eyes topped with green eyeshadow. She looks great up on the shelf next to She-ra.
