Nice book to help young children with feelings.

This book was really good for teaching kindness to second or third grade students. It featured many relevant examples. We decided to review it in one of my second grade classes. I am an elementary school counselor. They liked it a lot and we thought it was colorful and fun. I was able to explain some important concepts like "self-talk" and how to kindly give a compliment. It was definitely appropriate for them. The kids were excited to try out the new book. Some of the students had your books at home too. We are making a paper kindness quilt and this integrated nicely with that activity.

I recently started the Spot course with my 7 yr old. It's really helped him identify emotions and feelings and how to regulate them.Recently he started struggling with kindness towards others and has started some bullying behavior. I've used other Spot books to help with things like being patient, and calming down When I saw this book I got super excited bc the other books have helped so much.This is right on my son's level and really helps him make the connection between his behavior and the why.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this book! Can't wait to share with students who are struggling with unkind words BUT also all of my students. I'm an elementary school counselor and my k-2 kids are hooked and I am too. So much practical meat in these cute books. The 10 second Fix-it Rule is brilliant and the Spotastic words will be a hit too. Every parent, educator and counselor NEEDS this book and really all of the Little Spot books and accessories!

This book has been a wonderful resource for my daughter and I. It reminds us to use kind words and make requests and not demand things done one way or another.

So glad I got to read this book when I did. I am teaching A Little SPOT to a Kinder class and someone asked about the color purple. This helped give me an idea of what it is, so now I cannot wait to learn about the purple SPOT! This book is also perfect for the group I am teaching; I can't want to use it!

As a school counselor, I work with students from TK-5th grade, and they are all lacking in social-emotional skills due to the last 2 years. This book has a great way of discussing what it means to be kind, and has specific examples of how to use kind words. I love all of the Little Spot books, and this one is no exception!

The simple illustrations and explanations are incredible useful to use in a classroom environment. Telling students to use kind words has far more of an impact when they are prompted with examples that leads them to come up with their own words.
