Punch
Has great punch. After a few hours of break in the sub sounds great. Replaced the factory sub 2016 MDX. On stock amp, an upgraded amp on this sub would sound even better. Best sub for this price

Good bass for the size they are better than others just the right amount of bass at 157hz on Dsp on a atg 1 500 watts mono amp

Lexus ls430
Was able to wire the two voice coils in series as to not fry my amp. Sounds good but is a tight fit and not as much kick as I would have wanted. Handles bass well though.

Amazing quality 8" subwoofer for the price!
Nothing bad to say about this subwoofer. Was going to go with a much more expensive brand but it ended up being a little too deep for the box I was putting it in. This is sounding much better than the previous sub I had. Has been handling the power im throwing at it. I would recommend this sub to anyone.

What a sub!
These subwoofers really pound. I have an 8 dvc, and a 10 svc, and i love the sound of both 8 and 10. I have other subwoofers in my build, I have a 10" Kicker cvr, and a 8", and two 6.5" Memphis prx. And the polks are by far my favorite, the sound quality of the polks is a good sound, warm but punchy. And these are cheaper than all of the other ones, and that really makes them better.

not recommended for lexus ls 430 replacement
I have nothing bad to say about this speaker. However, if buying this to replace your blown ML sub in your lexus, be warned that this speaker, run in series, only shows 6.5 ohms at an idle. the Ml amp is designed for a 12 ohm speaker and you risk overheating your amp using this speaker (especially if you like to run loud). I discussed this at length with a friend who has been in the AV industry for 20 years and he said it will work until your amp gives out.... A ML amp is far more expensive than a ML sub. I recommend getting the real deal.PS....If your sub is blown because the foam has rotted you can order a new surround for about $20 and its very simple to replace even for a novice.Hope this helps someone.

Not impressed
I had high hopes for a subwoofer that claimed to handle up to 750 watts, well it never received that. The max power it received was 350 watts, I installed the oem lincoln town car alpine sub & oem sounds great Polk Audio sub blew. As a matter of fact they replaced the 1st one & second one blew, I would NOT buy this sub
