Works great when you follow the directions. The people complaining that the jelly fish are stuck at the top, probably didn't follow the directions because I thought it was crap at first too. Then I read that I was supposed to put a little dish soap in there and suddenly they came to life! Before they were just stuck at the top and their legs were stiff looking.I have been running it in my office about 8 hours a day M-F for a few weeks now, they are still good, but one jelly will get stuck in the back corner (I think he's depressed). I may need to add more soap or water, haven't messed with it yet.This gets a lot of attention in the office, people love it and some gullible ones think they are real... I tell them, I don't have to feed them because they just eat each other's legs and keep growing new ones over and over, haha.Edit: Added a little more soap and topped off the water and the little depressed jelly cheered up and doesn't hide in the corner anymore! Also, I don't have the water line showing like in the description picture, it think that looks bad. Not seeing the water line makes it a lot smoother.

The 1st day, the jellyfish kept getting covered with bubbles and trapped at the top. (Disappointing) The 2nd day, I learned that if you open the top and tap or rub the jellyfish, the bubbles come off and they start swimming again - for a while. (OK, but tiresome) The 3rd day, the bubble problem became noticeably less. (Good) Today, the 4th day, we are experiencing no bubble collection problems. (Excellent - Coolest desk aquarium ever!!) I have named the pair Daisy and Ebeneezer, and am getting great comments from swimming-neon-jellyfish-appreciating co-workers.

This is a pretty cool little jellyfish lamp. I did struggle to get the jellyfish to move rather than float at the top and periodically, I still have issues. The light is not as bright as I'd like but it is generally fine. One thing I do like is that this lamp is smaller than I expected so it doesn't take up as much space on my night stand. It would be nice if they included one more jellyfish. Two are good but I really think three would look even better. I actually like that this runs off batteries or a usb charge since it increases the number of places where I can display this since I'm not tied to an outlet. All in all, pretty good decor lamp.

This is so mesmerizing. Keep in mind though, when you put the jellyfish into the water, if they don't 'swim' that's because they have bubbles in the jellyfish caps, so make sure you pinch the bubbles out with your fingers. There is a very small piece of paper inside the box that says this, and I almost missed it! So calming and pretty!

I wasn't sure what to expect when I received this lamp. The price was certainly reasonable. I carefully read the setup instructions before I put it together. I had a little problem with one of the jellyfish, which was an issue with the bubbles but I took it out and removed the soap bubbles and it works great! Love watching these guys swim around.

Honestly I wasn't expecting much for under $20 but this thing is awesome.. Its hard to not watch them. The only thing is the colors always change you can not set it to one color.

Got this on a whim for fun for when I party or have guests over. The instructions were actually a little difficult at first. I thought it would be one of those things where you fill it with water and turn it on. You kind of have to pre soak the jellies in soap, and add soap to the water. The instructions are pretty straightforward but with some broken English.

Very frustrating. The lights works, the jellies worked right, the pump runs, cuz you can hear it, but no bubbles ever come up, so nothing ever happened - no swimming jellies. It was not clogged, we checked. Sending it back. Little girl disappointed.
