Altra Running W Olympus 4 Women's Running Shoes, Red, Size

Following bunion surgery, I wanted a shoe with a roomy toebox and these are absolutely perfect. They are very comfortable and don't put pressure on the scars and I'm already walking well.I hope they will last long as I did flinch at the price, but comfort was mostimportant for me and they fit the bill.The sole wouldn't be suitable for muddy trail running, but certainly for dry and light muddy trails. Sizing / fit was perfect as per the size guide.

I wore a pair of Altra Olympus 4s when walking the Camino de Santiago Frances in August/September this year.They were almost the perfect shoe for the Camino.They held up extremely well. The uppers were as good as new on arriving in Santiago.The soles showed very little wear but with about 80 miles of my walk left the shoes started squeaking.By the time I arrived in Santiago the squeaks were loud and very irritating.A friend said it sounded like I was stepping on frogs.I assume this was caused by the Vibram sole being worn down allowing the softer rubbery sole to come in direct contact with the ground.

These comfortable Altra tennis shoes have a wide toe box that adds comfort. The front of the shoe is shaped like a Birkenstock, so your toes are not squished and restricted. The shoes provide for easy walking or running.

This is my fourth pair of this running shoe. It’s very comfortable gives great support and all-around good shoe. Very good for wide feet, runs true to size

I love the Altra roomy toe box and the zero drop. I had been trail running in Altra Lone Peaks but due to an injury (not caused by or when using the shoe) to my Peroneal bone or tendon, I could not run in them anymore. These Olympus 4s were the solution with the max cushion soles. At 71, I probably should be running with more cushion anyway! They are very grippy and have the Altra trail shoe gator trap--velcro on the heal and metal d-ring on the toe if you use Altra's gators, which I do to keep sand and pebbles out.Love these shoes and recommend them to anyone who would benefit from more cushioning and for long distance trail runs.

After maybe 3 heavy uses one of the rubber chicklet outsole pieces came off. HORRIBLE rubber outsole design.

Las zapatillas son buenas, pero las anunciaban como rojas y para nada, su color real es asalmonado y la talla en este modelo es fiel, no es mas pequeña, por lo que me van grandes al yo utilizar un 39/39,5. Estaba fuera de viaje y esta fue la sorpresa cuando las desembale, ya tarde para devolverlas.
